One of my players is a Tabaxi who doesn't really know much about her family. I would like to introducer her father as beiing a rakshasa who was watching over her waiting for her to become more like him before being able to use her as a weapon (yes he is a bad guy)
I would like for the tabaxi player to have a certain trait that would give her a gameplay mechanic that resembles her rakshasa heritage.
Perhaps their claw attack prevents a hit enemy from regaining hit points until the start of their next turn, like a weakened form of the rakshasa's claw attack.

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Give them one of the at Will spells as a 1/day spell, maybe.
Or you could make it a negative thing they inherited. In early editions, a rakshasa could be killed by a crossbow bolt blessed by a cleric. You could make bless work backwards on them or not work at all.

Dear Dungeonmasters
One of my players is a Tabaxi who doesn't really know much about her family. I would like to introducer her father as beiing a rakshasa who was watching over her waiting for her to become more like him before being able to use her as a weapon (yes he is a bad guy)

Do any of you have an idea of what that could be?
Thanks!
