It's my first time trying to run a game, and I chose Frozen Sick as the adventure. One of my players has a Paladin who is immune to disease and I was trying to figure out if they would be affected by Frigid Woe or not. It is classified as a disease but also wasn't able to be cured by magical means. Any help with this would be very much appreciated.
Ultimately what the DM says goes, so if you wanted it to tweal it a bit to make it fit within the story and still be a real threat to them you can classify it as a poison as well as a curse as mentioned above.
I’d hate to take away a class ability, especially one that comes up so rarely, and I would allow the paladin to be immune. However, since it says it can’t be cured by magical means, I would not allow the pally to use lay hands to cure it in other people. Since pally is immune, you could say they never got it in the first place. But since it also says it can’t be cured by clerics or angels, I’d say pallys are out, too.
As a side note, it’s pretty cheesy writing. Basically they just remove a bunch of class abilities from the game because if they leave them in, the plot is ruined. It’s like in video games where your master thief can’t pick some locks and has to have a key so they can gate off an area.

This. Keep the class immunity -- having the pally contract a disease even though they're immune is really going to make them doubt their character choice... you don't want this.

I don't think it would count.
I am an average mathematics enjoyer.

As a disease, immunity would apply.
If you don't want the Paladin to be immune, reclassify it as a curse, like Lycanthropy or Vampirism.
Side Note: Being a curse means that Warforged can become Werewolves and Vampires just like everyone else.
