(The signal you send will alert the strike teams and give them time to get out. How you get out was never really gone over, maybe they thought you would just wait it out... or maybe they figured you being adventurers and all you would have, or figure some other way out?)
"We'll keep those goblins South of here off of yer' backs so you can make it to the pumping station. Good luck!"

Z then also performs his dismiss-to-pock-plane trick to recall Irraxan. It may be useful to have an extra scout.
As you're heading back East to find the last junction that will take you North or West or even Northwest again you spot a lone person heading in your direction with some haste. He is dressed in traveler's clothes with a hat and some dust and dirt cover his clothing as if he just survived a cave-in. In the distance you can hear the clash of steel as the soldiers and goblins engage each other to the South.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Randall:
"Actually, we are a cleaning crew of sorts, if you count Goblins as the debris. And I sense you attempt to divert attention from yourself. Tell us of your involvement in this matter--are you a spy for the goblins or working against them? Start with the cave-in you just escaped," speaks Randall with authority, knowing he has little time to deal with such matters if they are to get to the pumping station in time.

While we are stopped to talk to him, Z will ask Irraxan to go ahead past this person to see if there is anything interesting at the "cave in" this stanger just came from
"Ok, don't crowd me. I'll share. I mean, it looks like you're down here fighting the goblins too, even though you don't look like your run of the mill soldier."
He scratches at some stubble on his chin.
"I'm not with the goblins, I'm a smuggler. I was working on my tunnel when there was a small cave-in and i stayed down here to clear the debris. That was from yesterday to today. Now when I tried to find a way back up I keep hearing goblin bands roving about down here. With so many goblins flooding into the sewers I realized they must of tunneled into the sewers from their siege line."

"Quickly then! To the pumping station. We must ready ourselves to flood the sewers"
(So, once we use the pump to flood the sewers ... how do we get out again?)
Tempe watches as the others do.
(@Touschka Good question for us and the npc's.)

(Who has a good roll for intimidation? I think Petcan is the most intimidating [has the best stat for that]?)
While we are stopped to talk to him, Z will ask Irraxan to go ahead past this person to see if there is anything interesting at the "cave in" this stanger just came from
Petcan steps close and his first few words are reflexively in draconic before he switches to common. "Wolius svaklar wux re."
"You have just interfered with the defense of the city. Explain yourself -short, sweet, and quick- or you can face immediate, permanent consequences."
Petcan will also use the helm's detect thoughts DC 13 int save to try to dive into this booger's brain for info

Assuming I got nothing suspect from the Detect Thoughts:
"Wait... Will the blocked tunnel mess with the flood at all?"
Paladin - warforged - orange
"This city is blocked from the land so smugglers, would be necessary. What do you smuggle?" Tempe says with curiosity.
