(Something to keep in mind is there their speed is 30ft so they will be able to keep up with just normal moves and make an attack too. Dashing would make them have to dash but would provoke opportunity attacks.)
After seeing that Brix and Veyran got some distance from the attackers, Belnum looks at the three currently surrounding him and grins as tendrils emerge from his body and start whaling on the surrounding attackers. He then starts running in the same direction as Brix and Veyran with the goal of ducking behind the tree that is along the way.
(Casting Arms of Hadar, all creatures within 10ft of Belnum needs to make a DC 14 str save. On a fail they take 10 necrotic damage and are unable to take a reaction, on a save they take half damage and still can take their reaction.)
(I also realized I cheated myself out of some damage on my last attack as my Yklwa should have been marked as my hex weapon... Well lesson learned...)
The two near you both fail taking damage as they real in pain. One of the ones on the other side fails as well taking 10 damage. The one that had been hurt succeeds but still falls dead as part of the attack catches him. The last one is able to avoid most of it but still takes 5 damageZ

As he is slowly getting surrounded, Veyran disengages from the two assailants and, seeing one of his allies run for it, he will do the same.

Having put some distance between himself and the pursuers, Veyran turns around to fire another ray of cold energy at the closest available target.

After ducking behind the tree, Belnum quickly turns and points his finger at one of the attackers and lets out a bolt of energy in their direction.

The combined attacks of Veyran and Belnum strike the hooded cultist with a mixture of ice and energy. They cultist gargles his last breath and falls.
The three remaining cultist follow and take two strikes at Brix and one at Veyran.
One of them hits Brix for 4 damage as he is cut across the shoulder. The other two attacks don’t connect.

Veyran stops running for a moment and unleashes multiple small orbs of magical energy that drift directly on each of the remaining cultists.
