Virro enters the tomb and examines each of the crypts, looking for signs of technique, preservation, and looks for signs of what sort of ceremony was performed. “Yes. Done fairly well. These bodies must have been important. I wouldn’t imagine they would leave them to some neophyte… “. He takes a finger trailing along the crypt, pulling it up and examining it, as if for dust. He nods when Reed holds up the healing potion and the suggestion that someone else hold onto it.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Reya takes the potion from Reed and then hands it over to Roo remembering how he jumps into battle with no care for his well being at times. She shrugs when Corlith asks about what they found, "Who knows.. someone could have used it for a hiding place. Seems like a good one to me, amongst the dead."
Reya heads out the doorway, but turns back, "C'mon, I don't want to waste time in here, I want to clear this place and find the Duke." Once out of the room, she hangs against the wall, letting others pass by her as they continue to search out the area.
"People hide things in all sorts of places. Rich people always think they're being pretty clever," Reed says. "But you're not much of a thief if a couple of bones keep you from a good payday."
He then pops back out of the chamber and continues on in a westerly direction (Stealth: 5+11 = 16)
"Well, I guess I'm a bit more worried about what bodies we're going to find and who is still lurking down here rather than who is hiding what stuff." Reya snaps back at Corlith.
As Reed leads the group through the windy corridor, it eventually opens up to a small what appears to be a vault. These vaults are used for holding bodies waiting to be interred somewhere else. But there are a few bodies here, unfortunately you can tell they weren't put here on purpose. They look like they might have died recently though. There are more passages to the north and the south.
As the group follows Reed to the North, you run into a recessed mausoleum. Laid to rest in the sarcophagus in this alcove is Tormtar, according to the plaque.
Reya moves forward and rests her hand upon the lid, "This man was a paladin and high priest of Torm. May he rest in peace in well... now that he is in Avernus." her face screws up a bit, obviously out of her element and unsure what to say.
Corlith briefly glances back at Reya as she snaps at him, a little confused as to her reaction. He doesn't push it any further, but to him a sign that someone was alive down here seemed like good news. Of course, whoever hid the items might have done it some time ago and be long dead by now. Perhaps that is where her mind went.
When she then stops to pay tribute to a long dead paladin, he merely shakes his head and moves back away from the obvious dead end.
"Looks like a dead end to me".
He moves to the South, waiting for Reed to head onwards into more unexplored areas.
Virro follows as well, saying “Sightseeing is nice and all, the little tour that we are getting here. But I wish we could find signs of passage, know that we were on the right track…”. He starts to examine the floor, looking for signs of blood drops, footprints, recent activity that would suggest they are headed the right way.

Reed lets Virro do the tracking work, while he just continues off, quietly ahead of the group hoping to give everyone a heads up incase there is danger ahead (South this time).
As Virro picks up some intel from his investigating of the area, Reed pushes through heading south. He hits an intersection at the end of the hall with three alcoves standing in front of him, holding a standing sarcophagus in each. With the new corridor heading west, and two doorways heading south on each side of the three alcoves There are sounds emerging from those doorways.
The blood that Virro has found leads to the southern doorways.
Virro moves forward, getting Reed’s attention after looking at the ground. “Straightaway and to the left. Ignore the passage to the right. Someone has blood dripping off their blade…” Virro grips his right hand tightly, rubbing the back of his glove and straightening up his shield, facing ahead of them.

Ironmaiden pushes towards the front of the group and the cogs in their arms begin whirring, crackling lightning to the ground where IM catches it like a whip. (Ready action lightning lure if anyone approaches within 15ft)
Reed looks at the whirling, crackling energy whips and ducks under them. He heads up to the first southern doorway (the southwest) and listens more carefully for what is making the noise or what the sounds are (Perception: 8+9 = 17)
Reed turns back and rejoins the others, again dipping under the whirling energy whips.
"Someone's rummaging around in there. At least four someones, probably more. They don't sound happy but they sound like they're speaking Common. Maybe more bandits." Reed says.
"If they are not friends, then they are our foe and we should kill them. I would prefer to find out which before it comes to the killing though", Corlith interjects as he moves up. He doesn't even bat an eyelid to prospect of killing their foes without mercy any more. Perhaps due to what they have been through, or perhaps due to where they are. Who knows?
"Perhaps you could get a closer look, Reed?", he suggests as he assists the Halfling in his prospective efforts.
Virro gets set to follow in, after Reed, messaging him now, with his earring to speak silently as he creeps forward. “What do you see? How many? Should I blast them with a fireball?”

Corlith is also quite content for one of their front liners to take the potion.
"Odd things to find here, don't you think? Why would the long dead need a healing potion?".
Reya takes the potion from Reed and then hands it over to Roo remembering how he jumps into battle with no care for his well being at times. Corlith shrugs at the explanations from Reya and Reed.
"I guess that was my point. Someone is using this place to store their stuff. If no-one is interested in who, then by all means let's keep moving".
With that said, he leaves along with the pair and follows Reed, albeit far enough behind to not risk exposing the halfling as he sneaks around.

Reed smiles and heads back to the door, deciding to see what’s there first before letting Virro know if he should burn everything down or not.
He quietly opens the door a crack and peeks in from down low.
