Heading out of this area, the group sloshes their way through a series of three rooms; each about the same as the last. You can see a water line along the walls that bears evidence that the water levels have been higher some years...almost six to eight feet of flooding in some places, though the knee deep waters you currently trudge through seem much more reasonable. With this level of saturation though, there must be some other way for the water to be getting in besides the front entrance.
Standing currently in the middle room, you have a good line of sight for a ways down either hallway, and you know the northerly hall leads to another room. As you are looking around for any signs or information, you hear another loud "BBBBBZZZZZZZZTTTTTT!" sound echo down the halls. You think maybe you saw a small flash of light on the far end of the northern room, but it may have been too quick to be sure.

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
This room seems to have been a storage area of some kind from the junk you step through in the water. Brass nibs and styli, old ink pots, leatherworking tools, waterlogged lamps, and countless rusted nails...all covered in silt and rust and in various states of decomposition, all litter the floor.
For Peren:
As you sneak to the next too and peer down the hallway beyond, you hear a sloshing accompanied by the sound of heavy metal boots scraping across the watery floor. Whatever it is that is making the noise seems to be moving away from you however. With your dark vision, you see the brief outline of another of those large armored figures like the one Mirabel blasted earlier turning the corner and what sounds like it heading up a set of stone stairs in an even and deliberate manner.

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
Kathra has her axe ready to fight, but from the looks of things there's not much fighting to be done. Also the water has soaked her boots, making her grumpier than usual. "Would be nice to find whatever's making that noise and hit it."
Peren will sneak back to the room the party is in and tells everyone that there are more of the large skeletons ahead like the one Mirabel killed earlier
Information shared and itching for some action....at at least wanting to be somewhere other than these flooded chambers, you collect yourselves and head down the long northern tunnel past the next room. After a ways, it turns sharply to the right, and seems to head to a stone stairway with a thin stream of water cascading down it from the room above. A strange blueish light and a soft buzzing noise emanates from the room at the top of the stairs. Steeling yourselves, you creep up the stairs to see what lies beyond.
Whatever you expected to find at the top of the stairway, you are in awe at the sight laid out before you. The room is massive, easily a couple hundred feet across and just as tall. There are strange bluish orbs of energy floating high in the air that shimmer as if made of some strange buoyant liquid that light the room in an uneven glow. In the center of the room sits a massive black stone, similar in design to the fragment Mirabel carries, but truly colossal in size, humming with an energy all its own. All around it appears to be built some sort of scaffolding, with spiral stairs on three sides that lead to upper cat-walks along its top. Hanging from the stone catwalks in odd places are large metal plates that are suspended by rope. Occasionally small jolts of multi-color energy jolt from the huge black stone, colliding with one of the metal plates, scouring it slightly with an audible "zap!" sound. A good thirty or so feet above the stone, swarms of Storm Seals flit about in lazy circles, their sizes ranging from the smaller hand and arm-sized creatures you've already encountered to at least three that are grown as large as a horse, each bearing a large unicorn-like horn thrusting from their heads that occasionally pulses with a multi-colored light that seems to reflect beautifully off of their shimmery fin-wings.
You are broken from your trance as an exceedingly large bolt of energy arcs from the stone to the ground below with an almost deafening "BBBBBZZZZZZZZZTTT!" sound, scorching the ground where it hits. As this distraction passes, you hear the sounds of metal boots on stone nearby, and see two of those strange skull-headed armored figures dragging a large metal plate between them (they will be located on the map where the metal plate is resting on the ground).
((What do I see with my detect magic spell? I assume the whole contraption is glowing like the fragment Mirabel has. Does anything else give off an aura?)j
((The stone itself is a humongous beacon of magical power with no set aura that would determine any particular school of magic. You assume the floating light globes are magical, but they are too high up for you to tell what sort of magic they are as they are out of range from your senses and you've have to get up on the catwalk to get close enough to any of them. The weird armored figures give off a magical aura of necromancy that appears to be concentrated in their skulls.))

Kathra can't help whistling low, impressed by the size of the stone. "Those golems don't seem like they're interested in fighting, do they? Maybe they'll leave us alone?" She almost can't believe she's suggesting not getting in a fight, and hastily adds, "But let's be ready for a scrap, just in case" while readying her ax.
“Mirabel, you got anything to damage a bunch of those flying fish at once? Those things will give us the most problems if we can’t take them out quickly from a distance.”
As a side note, the Storm Seals don't seem particularly aggressive at the moment. They are just lazily circle-swimming through the air up above the stone.
((Meta What is the approx dimensions of this structure?” Need to plan for possible spell and weapon distances at this point. Mainly concerned how tall it is.))

Mirabel scratches his chin, deep in thought. "These are all spells," he mutters.
He explains the significance of the discs to the group. "These could be very useful."
((Especially since you have at least one unidentified magical item in your possession.))
While Maribel is examining the plates I will cast another ritual version of detect magic and also cast light on my rock before leaving the room

I will grab a handful of nails hoping to use them as a noise distraction in the future.
I will wait by the north exit of this room for Peren to return

Mirabel is not thrilled to hear about another one of the hulking golems wandering about.
"I suggest we avoid another encounter with one of those things."

”Those skulls seem to be the source of power for those golems”
”Anyone have any sense of a plan?”
