My apologies but which door, the one in front of you or the one to your left?
Mathias will recall a tale of Bernard the Brewer, a wizard of almost no great feats or tales but could brew some of the best potions. The exact location of his tower has been lost to history as has any knowledge of what happened to him. The most favored rumor is that he created a new brew that turned to poison and after testing it he died. His art and tower lost for all time.
Checking for traps on both doors, neither are trapped or locked. From the door on the left you hear nothing, but the door in front of you...you hear the faint clicking of what might be tiny feet on stone...
"More rats behind this one." Sylvantras says about the forward door while readying his blades. "Mathias, if you'd be as so kind to get the door, we can get on with this."
as the door swings open, in the center of the small room ahead of you is a large stone well, topped with a wooden handle and the rotten remnants of a heavy frayed rope that descends into the shaft. In the far right corner you'll notice the ceiling has collapsed slightly and a narrow shaft of weak sunlight shines through a narrow hole. As you upon the collapsed ceiling, that small dot of sunlight suddenly becomes blocked and a giant centipede scurries from the rubble.
Please make initiative rolls. Everyone higher than a 12 please post your first round actions.
Marion and Sylvantras look like look like poetry in motion as their blades swing through the air, making a melody of deadly air-swooshes as the rather effectively slice the giant centipede to bits before it can fully emerge from the debris.
Mathias as you watch your friends move, slash and kill, you see a second creature pulling it's self out of the well behind them...what do you do?
Mathias does his best to recall what this property was before a brewery…

Mathias strolls over and opens the door. Looking for any other venues for light, candles torches lanterns… anything that could be used?

Marion's blades sing with lethal precision as she weaves a net of deadly steel, lashing the giant centipede repeatedly.

Just after Marion, Sylvantras rushes into the chamber slashing his twin curved blades at the centipede.

Cast sleep on it! Wis save DC 13 vs incapacitated
The creature suddenly slumps, half over hanging over the edge of the well, the rest hanging within the well.
Marion and Sylvantras turn to see the creature laying as described, what do you do?
"Thanks Mathias. Glad you had our backs" Sylvantras says before slashing the unconscious centipede with his blades.
*But somehow misses an unconscious centipede twice. AC 6 (Nat 1) and AC 11*
As you swing, we're going to say you hit and crit, if you roll damage and please do more than 10 pts.
As the blade cuts through the creatures flesh, everyone please make a perception roll.

Sylvantras
you hear the unmistakable "click click click'" of another one of these creatures but it sounds like it's coming from inside or down in the well
