Markas will move down the hall and if it's all clear around the next bend keep going. If he catches sight of a hobgoblin, he'll shoot an arrow at them. Otherwise he'll exhaust this round with movement.
@Markas, the arrow meant for Zerys wooshes passed you. You trade positions with Zerys and have the same cover she does. You can see the hobgoblins down the passage. You could attack but with disadvantage due to them being at the edge of your vision. If you attack, you lose your cover, if the other is waiting for a good shot (with the ready action). You regain your cover at the start of Amar’s turn
Quick clarification for Zerys besides the pot shot Hobgoblins at 60 feet (I assume) does she see anything else in the cave? Tables, chairs or other miscellaneous bric-a-brac?
Amar will move up by Pagan, noticing the Hobgoblins tendency to "Ready! FIRE! Aim..." and cast an illusion of a slightly wounded, berserk Brumdall about 15 feet up the passage.
Let's see if that draws out some more Hobgoblin pot shots.

You might see a piece of rubbish here and there, but the passage way is otherwise clear. It has a smooth, but not slippery surface and is relatively cool and a bit breezy.

Your Minor Illusion cantrip only creates still images or a sound, so I’m not sure how you could convey a “berserk” Brumdal. You could have a motionless Brumdal who looks like he is sneaking up the other side of the passage. With the general darkness of the area and excitement of combat that might be enough to draw their fire.
Compare your Minor Illusion cantrip with Silent Image, a level 1 spell. Silent Image details adding motion to the image whereas Minor Illusion makes no mention of it.
Silent Image seems like an upgrade, but only for the image part of Minor Illusion as there is no sound with the spell. Magic Mouth is the likely upgrade for the audio portion.
I recognize minor illusion creates static images. More clarification on my intent wounded with a enraged look (facial expression) but like snake, spider and chest a still image.

That does have the intended affect. Another arrow comes flying down the hallway ...
The arrow misses the fake Brumdal, and Markas notes that the arrow’s trajectory was not as expected: it came from the opposite side of the passage from where the two hobgoblins are (so there is an additional shooter up the passageway—one you cannot see).
Okay. I'm not sure if you were counting Brumdal as having his shield out and being used, but if not, he'll equip it now. He will slide across the gap, trying to take cover in the notch across from us, and I'll see what I can see.

I always assume you are using your shield unless you are using a weapon with two hands. W.r.t this the only weapon of yours that comes into play is your longsword because it is versatile (if you use it two-handed it does more damage). I assume when you use it, you are using it one-handed unless you tell me you’re using two.
Brumdal dashes passed the party and stakes out behind his shield against the opposite wall (and about 10 feet behind the illusion of himself). From here he can see the passageway continues past the range of his darkvision (60 feet). At the edge of his vision he sees two hobgoblins positioned around a corner to his left. One looks like he has just shot his bow. The other looks like he is getting set up to do the same.
@Pagan, your turn!
You cannot make it to melee range with hobgoblin archers without dashing.
If you were trying to close that gap, you could move your 40 feet and then take the dodge action as a suggestion. As another alternative you could dash up to them and if they tried to withdrawal then you could use your reaction to make an opportunity attack. (I'm mainly throwing that out there for everyone to know about as a general way to disrupt ranged attackers.)
The red arrows (which you can barely see on this map unless you enlarge it) indicate the trajectories of the arrows that came your way.
The forum guidelines say images can't be wider than 500 pixels, so you get these really small images when I'm showing you all that the party can see. Click to enlarge.
Pagan picks up a small rock (if available- if not he will use a dart.) He tosses it down the hall somewhere beyond Amar's illusion as a distraction. He will then advance to Brumdal's position and dodge. "Let us advance together," he says in a hushed tone.

How effective is the rock at momentarily distracting the hobgoblins? Your Deception check: 10
How sneaky are you getting to Amar's illusion? Your Stealth check: 22 vs. Hobgoblin Perception checks: 4 & 15
You hear startled grunts and hollers echoing along with the sounds of booted hobgoblin feet shuffling about. No arrows or any other kind of attack comes your way!
Javon
Javon moves into position next to Markas and Zerys and readies his bow.
Hobgoblins
With their darkvision Markas and Brumdal see two very large, brutish-looking hobgoblins enter the passageway. Each are carrying a whip and have a longsword sheathed at their side. Like the previous armored guards, these are wearing chain mail armor and each have a shield.
Markas using his ready bow takes a shot at one of the newcomers: 13
Two of the unarmored hobgoblins fall in behind the two brutes and they, along with the one still in cover around the corner, shoot down the corridor at you.
Attack Rolls:
vs. Fake Brumdal: 7 vs. Brumdal (AC 18): 17 vs. Pagan (AC 16): 4 (disadvantage)

Another Wisdom Check: 16
He stays behind cover and informs everyone else what is down the hall and asks for suggestions.
Sounds good.
@Amar, you are up.

More clarification on what Zerys saw:
The hobgoblins are using a sharp corner for cover just like your party is.
