Scenario: Ba is stood directly at Aty's feet, the rest of the group about 10 feet behind that. Frank (the other guy) is fifteen feet behind Arty (so 25 feet from the party). There are trees about thirty feet away from the centre of the clearing, where the party currently is within the salt circle (save Ba).

(OOC: So did those previous attacks hit? Would they count as a surprise round in that case, and if not, could we use them for the current round? Or do we have to reroll them?)

(No surprise round. Just take your actions from now. Remember, there is no "surprise round" in 5e; there is a surprised status, but I doubt they would be surprised that little devils are going to try something.)

Ba: in the first round Ba is going to cough up a fire bolt on Arty (Attack: 1 Damage: 2 with disadvantage due to being in melee).

Danzu levels his crossbow at the one on the left, mutters a curse at his target in infernal and fires.

hex damage: 4

Coy will move 30ft to the side and take the dodge action- because she's garbage and wants to see what these humans are capable of before she puts herself in harm's way.

Same thing as earlier, vicious mockery DC 12 wis, 1 psychic damage.

Coy rushes off to one side (20 feet is your character speed, not 30 feet), and actively attempts to dodge any potential incoming attacks.

Zamiel calls out with abyssal words as Arty attempts to clear his head of the strange notes.

The harsh words strike into Arty's head, distracting him. (Arty: 1 damage.)

Razznik runs up to Arty and flails his claws at the dark robed man, causing a scratch to his leg. (Arty: 6 damage.)

Ravor attempts to hit the guy with some flames, but they arc too high to strike the human.

Danzu does not have a crossbow (remember, no starting equipment. You can rethink your turn if you want)

Ba coughs up a mote of flame, taking Arty off balance as it manages to lightly singe the human's slightly pimply face. (Arty: 7 damage.)

Seeing that these humans who summoned them seem unable to defend themselves, Coy will move 20ft toward the closer human (Arty). She will lash out with her claws Attack: 22 Damage: 5  and 6 sneak damage.

(oof bad rolls. I think moving on a diagonal I can get into melee with him, but if my math is bad and I can't then I will move closer, but dodge again instead of attacking.)

Ah ha. Sorry GM I’ll post a claw attack. Are we proficient with our claw attack?

(I would assume so, since it's a natural weapon.)
