Herman pockets the gold he gets from Silder. Even though his face is hidden behind his helmet, you can tell he's pretty happy to have 75 extra gp. He says, "Well, this is going last me at least a month. I'm going to go ahead and head the inn for Elvish ale. Then I'll see what to do for a living... something that doesn't involve getting shot at." He will then head off the tavern. Here are two scenarios based on what the rest of the party does:
If the the party goes with him:
In the inn, they will see a curious high elf woman in a thin white long cotton dress with blueish white shoulder-length hair drinking wine at the bar. Herman will take one look at her and exclaim, "Well I'll be damned!" He will then tell the party, "See that high elf woman over there? That's the Witch Bastille I was telling you about. I wonder what she's doing here."
If the party doesn't go with him:
After a few minutes (how ever long it takes to walk to the inn and back), Herman will return to the party. He didn't rush, he walked to the inn and walked back. He will speak to the whole party but especially Vimak because he was the one that asked Herman if the archer knew anyone that might be willing to help the party out. "So you remember that Witch I told you about? Well, I just saw her at the Stonehill Inn. Maybe you'd like to ask her to join you in your adventures? I'm personally more curious as what she's up to so far from her forest home."
I'm still waiting for more resolution, and actionable posts. I need Vimak and Gilari to respond to the situation. I will wait one more day from the time of this post, more or less. After which I will assume some actions to keep the story going. I dont like to push the party along, but If I have nothing to respond to I can't do much. No one interacted with the NPC's since the last post, for example, no one said they went anywhere else or did anything :P I love the interpersonal character interactions, thats actually why i asked for decent RP, but I need you to interact with the world too, or i suppose I could just start rolling random encounters ? >:3
(I would interact more with NPCs but since I'm in the process of switching I want to keep it brief and not do much more. I mean that 75GP is already something that I'm not going to be keeping.)
(LOL HAHAHA "Oh klargs morningstar "just appeared in my inventory" ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°) Jk Jk i was making sure it worked mostly. but aye. Will wait a day before I assume actions. so another 15 hours. And Fair enough Zulk, but you could also take this chance to just thrust your character in by having them stumble on the party as the'yre deliberating with Barthen.)
(I... honestly haven't thought of that. Shit, really should have done that. Either way, I already laid the set up for the switch so no turning back now I guess)
"Mister Barthen, during our trip we have come across some extra goods, and we would like to do some charity, do know how we might go about donating these supplies to those who need them? I remember seeing a shrine on our way here, and I know that people often go to temples when they are desperate, so maybe if we leave some supplies there people who are in need of simple tools will take some? It would help if we had a note to make it clear that the barrels are free for the taking... I'll be right back, maybe there is something to write on in one of Klarg's crates." Cirrus starts looking through one of the crates for something to write on.
Cirrus comes back with a sheet of paper in his hand, "Yeah, if we decide that putting the supplies next to the shrine is a good idea, then I can write a note so that no one who needs whatever might be in these crates and barrels will have to worry if they are stealing."

Vimak looks through the last three crates for 4 healing potions: 38
"Cirrus, I'll make posters for the armwrestling exhibition. The two of us could also take on all contestants. Anyone in town gets the privilege of trying to beat one of the two of us? What do you all think?"
If this sounds good to the group: Vimak searches through the goods for more 2 pages: 41. On them he will attempt to draw two arms wrestling. (Sleight of Hand? 6, Performance?19.) He'll include all the details for a contest the next day at noon. The two Goliaths will arm wrestle each other for the mace and anyone in town for a pot of the entrance fees. Each contestant pays a copper. Vimak also buys a few more pages to make posters with.
If this doesn't sound good, he'll wait.
"Thank you for your payment, Sildar," Vimak says. "What are your plans? Will you be looking for your dwarf friend? I can't speak for all of us, but I'd be willing to help. Do you know what he intended these supplies for?"
"I believe, Mr. Barthen, that these are all the goods you were promised, and as Cirrus indicates, some extras for the good of the town."
"Herman, would you work with the witch you bumped into in the inn again? What was she like as an adventurer? I'd like to meet her."
Herman says, "She... wasn't exactly an adventurer. During my travels, I was passing through her forest and I was getting sick. I stumbled upon her house and that's how we met. I spent a few days there while I got better. I didn't exactly work with her but I did notice that she was much better at hunting than I was. She also seemed to be knowledgeable about medicine and plants. Also she could turn into a giant wolf so there's that. Personally, I don't know if she's even an adventurer but hey, it can't hurt to ask right?"
"Well Vimak, if you're willing to put that much extra effort in, then I'm all for it. We'll probably need come pitons to hold the flyers up, as well as my note by the shrine if need be."
Let me check to see if Cirrus can find 3 hammer(s): 56
When Vimak makes mention of helping Sildar find Gundren, Cirrus looks conflicted.
(OOC: Currently I'm waiting to see if Barthen has a better idea than leaving the stuff at the shrine. If not, then Cirrus and whichever party members are willing to help will push the cart to the shrine, unload the extra things that Klarg gave them, after everyone has searched the crates to their hearts content, and Cirrus uses his ink and quill to write on the piece of paper something along the lines of: "Life can be hard, take what you need."and stick one of his iron spikes through the paper in such a way as to not damage the message, and hammer it to the side of the shrine of luck.)

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Ha... take on the townsfolk. I doubt there will be any here that can best either of us Vimak... well maybe you." Gilari grins. "But that seems fair nevertheless, a good contest and a reasonable pot. And if someone does beat us then they deserve the little extra we can put there way."
Gilari listens as Vimak talk to Elmar about his intent to seek out Gudren. "Aye, as I've said, I too would be happy to seek out our lost employer. Do you have weapons and armour here, or is there smith that can supply us hereabouts?" And is there someone with the town or nearby that knows the hills and glades well. If Gundren has been taken to this Cragmaw Castle, we might need a guide or at least some better directions than..." He clears his throat and attempts his best goblin impression (for the lolz Performance: 2)"... that way!"
(OOC: Apparently Gilari sounds like a demented halfling!)
If he notices Cirrus's conflicted expression, Vimak will ask about it. If he doesn't notice, he won't. He is curious about Sildar's plans, but won't speak for the party or promise anything without asking the others.
"Giant wolf, you say," Vimak says to Herman. "We should invite her to join us, Herman, if Cirrus and Gilari are comfortable. Can you arrange an interview between us? Over dinner at the inn Sildar suggested?"
"I'm glad you like the idea, Gilari," Vimak says. "Something in your throat?"
After helping Cirrus move the wagon and the goods, Vimak spends some time making posters. He hangs them where he thinks they are most likely to be seen, carefully explaining to anyone who seems likely to talk to him about the event. Usually he puts the flyers up by taking his open palm and slapping a nail through the poster and oak tree, sign post, or stump behind it. Occasionally, he head butts the nails in place instead.
(nope, and yes, hate when that happens :P)
Also I forgot, Sildar hands each of you 75 gold. 50 for savign him, and 25 for savign the other that you would not have gotten otherwise.

(Would... it not have been easier to just sell the barrels and buy what you need from the shop? I am not telling you what to do but I'm just saying.)
What? Does that?? Mean???

It's a fun story. It's actually a part of an ongoing story. I recommend watching the previous chapters if you've got the time.
Also, here's the particular segment I keep referencing:
Cirrus, through all of it, finds X20 Caltrops, and 30 Iron Spikes.
The party has 18 'crates' remaining to sell. And 8 left to 'look in'
