Bastille attempts another bite but something is just off.. perhaps these goblins are better trained than what they were used to fighting? Regardless, the goblin dodges, but doesn't quite find a chance to riposte.
Cirrus however manages to land a solid if limpwristed slash on the now blind gobbie who hollers even louder. (Blind targets cannot see, and outside of special senses, blind targets are always attacked with advantage!)
Vimaks retaliatory strike misses by a mile, still gettign used to the weapon it seems, however his followup attack hits with a solid thud, as the goblin goes from cacklign to gurgling as he's sent flying into a tree, limp, and lifeless.
The ranger chuckles saying Ah, thats unfortunate... But it seems you folks have things well handled now. I don't pity the boy though how he's going to feel when he has to pull that out.... Another arrow flying from his bow at the same one as before. Attack: 3 Damage: 1
Another solid thud as a second arrow lands near the first.
The three goblins restring their shortbows and unleash a hail of arrows at the windman...
Attack: 24 Damage: 10
Attack: 7 Damage: 8
Attack: 11 Damage: 6
this time all three land, one in the thigh, another in Cirrus' shoulder, and the final one, joining it's brother in the opposite side of the same place, it seemed like that one goblin was intentionally taunting Cirrus'.
The final blind one, scrabbling for its short-sword, bringing it to bear as it flails wildly, trying to repel cirrus...
Attack: 10 Damage: 8
In it's failings it manages to miss and slash at it's own shin.... it stumbles, but doesn't quite fall... and in fear, it drops its weapon, attempting to flee... 3 running east....
The two near Vimak take swings...
Attack: 6 Damage: 8
Attack: 9 Damage: 8
(correction, one died... )
The remaining goblin then disengages, moving 30 feet away so as to not be retaliated against once more, screaming in goblin You are strong for big human, but stupid! laughing all the while.
The one by Bastille, feeling emboldened by its success so far, strikes out again....
Attack: 12 Damage: 8
landing another solid hit, and taunting her in goblinYou dumb as are big! useless spider shit!then, in unison, the 3 remaining archer goblins rush into the forest in random directions, ducking into the nearby shrubbery to stealth with their nimble tactics...
Stealth Rolls: 12 - 13 - 21
All 3 of them vanishing from sight, though one seemed to cease to exist entirely and are now ??? on the field.
Players are up. 3 goblins are effectively invisible, but can be spotted with successful perception checks (nat 20 in the case of one) one goblin is dead. The remaining one near Vimak disengaged, preventing AOO/DAOO. And two goblins seems to be blessed by the dice...

The first two reduce Cirrus to 0 hp, and as a result I need you to roll that last goblin hit again, because it had advantage. This is important because if he crits, then I fail 2 death saves, rather than 1.

You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(I had to check the rules because I had never heard that before. That means that the advantage granted by me being unconscious and the disadvantage imposed by me being prone cancel each other out, so the 22 stands, and I only fail one death save automatically. Since the party is up that means I need to roll my save right?)

Vimak will move to and attack the closest goblin: 9 for 14. If possible, he will use to rest of his movement to get closer to Cirrus. He watches the trees and he goes and tries to keep his shield between Cirrus and where he thinks the goblins have gone.
"I'm sorry," he says in Common, "I don't speak Goblin."
(Anyone else notice Raiketsu's post vanished? In my experience, when you "delete" a post, it turns red and cannot be read, but the post still occupies the same space.)

(OOC basically to explain prone etc.. ranged attacks are at disadvantage on prone targets, since you died, you would fall prone, so as you said it would be normal. 2 death fails so far)
The rangers joke goes from a pained but playful jest to a serious concern as Cirrus falls to the ground. The three goblins having disappeared, while the remaining two visible ones continued their agile fight.
Green energy channels around the druid as his bows tip pierces the ground, thrusting out his arm as he chants in druidic
Sākuru no chikara de, shizen ga watashi o tōrinuke sasemasu. Sore wa hakarishirenai ai caredesu. Natsu o kaihō shimashou.
An emerald fey appears above cirrus, caressing his cheek, life flowing into him (1) before the bow is kicked up, arrow knocked, and fired once more... Attack: 6 Damage: 6
During this time, Vimak continues to try to get used to such a large one handed weapon, as the goblin ducks beneath it, taking a retaliatory swipe at the juggernaut. Attack: 21 Damage: 6
The healing was weak as the spirit formed, but it was enough to bring cirrus back to the land of the living. The arrow flew wide and into the ground near the goblin it had so faithfully struck twice before. Spittle flies in the face of the goblin but he dodges nonetheless, swinging at Bastilles lower body... Attack: 23 Damage: 11 but Bastille was starting to get used to the way it moved when it attacked, and though it struck home, it didn't strike as truly.
The goblins, feeling cocky now, press their advantage. The three hidden goblins aim their bows, all targeting Bastille, seeing as she seemed the weakest, and trying to reduce the parties numbers so they could all focus on the big guy... three missiles sing out at the spider...
Attack: 18 Damage: 11
Attack: 21 Damage: 7
Attack: 9 Damage: 4
Two hitting their mark, but the other one flying between her legs.
The goblin at bastilles side, slashes out..
Attack: 14 Damage: 7
landing a decent hit once more.
Finally, the one charges back in at vimak, slashing, before disengaging once more....
Cirrus breathes once again, albeit heavily as he is in a lot of pain. He looks down and says out loud to himself, "Thank the gods I landed on my back." he casts healing word on himself for 3 points. Slightly more healed, he then gets up to his feet (with a lot of grunting in pain), and sees the goblin next to him (I think? I'm trying to follow along as best I can), and shouts "You're still here? gods damn it!" then slashes at it with his rapier: 11 to hit, 5 damage.
(I am going to die if I can't hit these things. these rolls are trying to kill me. I don't want to die yet, I just came up with another hilarious song to use for Bardic Inspiration.)
You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
Bastille is put out of her beast form with the first two hits the second arrow strikes her in the back and the goblin manages to slash her side. Bastille grimaces and looks very beat up. She says, "You think you've got me? I've not even begun to fight!" Her form begins to warp again and this time she changes into a Dire Wolf
Wolfstille chomps down on the goblin that is next to her. Attack: 6 Dmg: 9 On hit: Make a DC13 STR Save or be knocked prone.
Cirrus wakes up in a panic, feeling just alive enough to not be dead, and attempts to correct that, healing himself further before swiping out at the blind goblin (10) Missing, perhaps he was still too sore to get a solid swing in... Regardless, healing flows through Cirrus once more... (1)
Bastille feels her strength wane in that form as the arrows assail her spindly form. Only to once again transform. Seeing the large beast appear, the goblins in the tree's and shrubbery hesitate... 35 - 60 the three in the tree's panicking, and fleeing as fast as they could away from the beast. The blind one, having no clue what was going on. The one near Vimak dodging his blade, then disengaging away in a similar direction as the latter three. The one nearest Bastille panicking, and dodgengaging away as fast as he could, leaving just the blind one, flailing wildly.. near Cirrus
Attack: 8 Damage: 3
Missing entirely.
The ranger strings his bow but looks to you all This is your venture. What do you want to do?
Cirrus attempts to silence the goblin at his feet, once and for all: 17 to hit (w/ adv. because blind: 16); 6 damage. BA w/ shortsword: 23 (w/ adv. bc blind: 7); 1 damage.
If he successfully kills it:
"Well, they've proven they can kill me easily, so I'm not too keen on jumping back into battle. In any case, they might be connected to the goblin keep we're pursuing, so we might run into them later. They didn't take anything physical... just my dignity." Cirrus then looks down at his... situation. "Speaking of which..." Cirrus begins to reason in his mind: "Okay, I'm going to have to pull these out, which is going to hurt like the nine hells, which will cause me to scream. However, it shouldn't be too bad if I heal myself right after. My magic is powered by my pipes, so maybe if I can blow my involuntary screams through my pan flute, I can channel the magic to heal myself?" Without a word, Cirrus attempts exactly that. In this moment, there is absolutely nothing musical about this bard's magic, it is the most horrible sound to ever come out of an instrument. Cirrus gives himself one final heal (6)
If he doesn't kill it he'll just shout "DAMN IT!" and just throw his shortsword on the ground and storm over to a nearby tree and start kicking it like a child throwing a tantrum. after a minute of this he will give himself the same heal spiel as above. He walks back to the group, "Sorry about that. Lost my cool there for a second."

The former happens, but between his own healing, and the spirits... Cirrus manages to survive with only temporary pains. The spirit healing him... 24 up to max + the highest overheal as temp HP.
The goblin having been felled, bleeding out on the ground.
The ranger stringing his bow as the spirit disappears into the aether. The ranger looking to everyone Well then, are you all good to move or did she take a few too many hits?
"Resting is a good thing, as my old mother used to say," Vimak says. "But perhaps we should move a bit first? Far enough that if the goblins are returning with friends, they won't be able to find us. Far enough we won't be uninterrupted." He considers the trees around them. "If any of the tree are strong enough, we might be able to sleep in them," he says.
If it is okay with the others, Vimak will try and find an easily defended spot a mile or more in the same direction as the ranger was leading them. Once there, he'll take the first watch.

Vimak seems to have been missed twice by goblins. He replies with the end of his morningstar attacking once for 15 with 10 damage and again 14 for 7.
Then he takes his regular attack 14 for 14. He switches to a new goblin as soon if an old one dies. He lunges from goblin to goblin.
