(( if it helps, I think Taravan also has passive 14 investigation ))
Taravan noticed that these harpies have a few noticeably quality items amongst their gear. The whole bulk of it is patchwork and badly worn, there is one harpy with a club that seems significantly better in quality than the others, possibly looted from a traveler they preyed upon, and one other harpy wears a ring that also seems particularly significant. If trained in arcana, your assumption is these could he magical, though study during a short rest would be needed, or the Identify Spell.

Turning to Nanoc he says, "Bit of beserker in you lad? Had me worried there for a moment."
Then says to the rest of the group, "We'd best move these bodies away ... perhaps nearer the Owlbears cave so they don't feel the need to investigate back here."
Okkar nods mutely and moved to aid with it, seeming a bit shaken by the entire encounter. Moving the harpy corpses closer to the Owlbear cave will give them and other local predators and scavengers easy pickings, and mitigate the likelihood of them bothering your encampment this evening, affording you an opportunity for a long rest.
[OOC: Nanoc does have proficiency in Survival. I am also going to assume that Evan has dropped his Silence spell to avoid Nanoc making too much of a fool of himself with my role playing.]
Picking up the brand from the fire that he plucked up previously, Nanoc blows it back into life so that he can see better. He then checks where he remembers Kerina chose to sleep. Following the faint trail of footprints he establishes that she has taken her belongings and legged it in the direction of the trading post. He then returns and speaks with Okkar.
"We've lost one," he says stoicly throwing the brand back into the fire.
"But not to the owlbears or the harpies," he adds. "It's the female elf, Kerina. She's deserted."
He then points to the horses. "She left her horse behind, but that's probably poor compensation for all that the coin you gave her."

(short or long depending on what the group wants and thinks) or while the group is taking care of the dead harpie bodies I will study the ring.
For loot of obvious value but non magical in nature, two of the harpy spears were Silvered, valued at 100 gp, sellable for 50 GP each. You also found several non magical trinkets on their person, worth a total of 30 GP, evidently also looted from travelers.

Okkar frowns, and responds stoically. “True enough, I did pay for her travels from Breland here to the Mror holds. Then again, without completing the mission she’s on her own to get back. Maybe it’s fair. Better that she realize it now than when we are deep in the mines. Not everyone is cut out for this sort of thing. These mountains are treacherous. Some of us are used to the dangers of the outdoors. Her background was as a city thief. Thought it might be useful if we ran into locks or traps, but, we will make due.”
He does not appear to know that Nanoc is also skilled as a rogue.

During the long or short test Taraven can take his time and identify the items. The magic items are a +1 club and a Ring of Protection, the latter requires attunement to be of use.

OOC: Does the group want to take a long or short rest? I would prefer a long rest to get my sorcery points back hahah and it will probably be good for those that too damage. Also what do we want to do with the non-magical loot?
Once Taraven identifies the items, she will tell the group "It looks like we have a magical club and a Ring of Protection. Does anyone need of these items?"
OOC: Who has a low AC and could use the ring of protection?
Keeping his voice low, Nanoc continues talking with Okkar.
"I could do her job as well," he says, "If you make it worth my while. I have some experience in that... line of work."
“The deal was to split any loot found in the mine amongst you all, a six way split originally,” Okkar answers. “With one less it’s a five way split. I’m not taking a cut, as my reward will be whatever the clan decides to give me for recovering the mine, hopefully the reinstatement of our family line into good graces at the very least. If you’re putting double duty as a breaker and a thief, all the better. I would have no issue giving you a double share - frankly, I don’t care. But, word to the wise, I wouldn’t recommend it. Likely to stir up bad blood with your comrades, and you need them as much as they need you. A six way split to a five way, good enough?”
Okkar finishes aiding with moving the bodies and settles down at his bedroll. “I’m going to get some sleep. I’ll take second watch.”
Those trained in insight all pick up that he is upset, but those with massive Insight 13 or higher can tell it’s not from the absence of the elf thief, but the stress of the encounter, likely reminding him of the recent encounter where his brethren fell, within the mine.
OOC: I am going to call it a night and I may resume Monday or post lightly tomorrow. Feel free to role play amongst the PCs, divide up the loot, and confirm your order for watch and travel plans. There will be no more encounters tonight, just some unnerving sounds of local animals fighting over the corpses of the harpies.
Okkar had indicated to expect a bit of a climb towards the last leg of the journey. Aside from that, and possible other wilderness encounters, nothing else stands between you and the mine, save time and travel.
In response to Taravan's question about the ring he says, "I'd suggest the cleric for now. He doesn't seem very hardy against magic, and it'll help there...and if we lose him, then our job gets a lot harder. We can discuss what to do with everything we find when we get back. In the mean time, I'd say those as can make best use of it should get it."
Considering the club, he says "...and much as I'd like a magical weapon to use against undead, I prefer lighter weapons."
[[ My vote: long rest; if we go with long rest, then he eats remaining goodberries, and recasts the spell ]]
Galtheon looks around and says, "I could use a rest, and this is as good a place as any. Besides, some don't see too well in the night: one way or another they'll attract attention."
[[ Is there any chance Galtheon overheard the conversation between Nanoc and Okkar? Just looking to shape Galtheon's opinion of the lad. Passive perception 15, perception roll if needed: 12 ]]
As Okkar goes to his bedroll, Galtheon says, "Losing people is hard. Making sure they didn't die in vain is what matters."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nanoc moves to look up at the sky to try to work out how much time there is before dawn (If asked, he will pass this information to the others.): [OOC: Survival roll, if relevant: 20 ]
He will then find a spot between the horses and the outside and settles down for a short rest (at least) to recover and do something to mend his torn clothes [OOC: He will roll his Rogue d8 hit dice: 7 ]
Nanoc will then be ready to take a watch, but will leave it up to someone else to set the watch order and who is watching with whom.

[[ ooc: Galtheon only needs to trance for 4 hours (and then stay awake resting); I'm not sure about Ilecerys...my suggestion is uninjured people take first watches; seems reasonable to try to recover sooner as a general rule. I think that means Ilecrys and Evan take first watches. That means Galtheon could do the rest of the night, and would happily do so; but for the sake of keeping the best possible watch, would wake up Taravan and Okkar. Depending on the results of his perception above re Nanoc, he may or may not have a conversation with Okkar and Nanoc. Bottom line, suggested 2 hour(?) watches:
1. Ilecerys 2. Evan (by this time he should have had a short rest at least) 3. Galtheon and Okkar 4. Galtheon and Nanoc(maybe) 5. Galtheon and Taravan
Total of 10 hours watching, 8 hours rest for everyone. I'm not attached to the order at all.
If we want every watch to be double, then:
20:00 Ilecerys & Evan 22:00 Evan & Taravan 00:00 Galtheon & Taravan 02:00 Galtheon & Okkar 04:00 Galtheon and Nanoc 06:00 Galtheon and Ilecerys 08:00 All have had 4 hours watching and 8 hours sleep (Galtheon 4 hours trance, 8 hours rest; Ilecerys & Evan are the only ones with uninterrupted sleep...this could rotate each night, I suppose)
Total of 12 hours; this ensures that every watch has someone that is reasonably fresh
[OOC: How long the watch takes depends on when the harpies attacked, which is ill defined (see here). However, I suspect Okkar/the party will want to move on at first light to make sure they reach the entrance of the mine well before sunset of the next day. Which means I think the watch should be based on an 8-hour time frame, not a 12-hour one.]
