Nice work folks. I’ll have a good update over the weekend. I tend to be slow but meaningful in forum games so please be patient. Love the stuff so far. 

Sounds like we've got our group figured out. The way I see it, Zinnadove is maybe picking her way through the crowd and taking advantage of what she can. Sariel and Yasmin come up upon the scene, making their way toward the young guard while Zinnadove -- half interested from afar and  maybe having her own reasons for being in Balder's Gate, "tags along" for the ride...

Back to the game where you are interacting with the young guard...

Sounds good, also, at level 2 ill get my actual Divination features, but until then i might throw in little bits of her "visions" throughout the story. Nothing that will seem meta-gaming or anything that should effect the game, just a little RP for fun. i hope that's alright with you guys, if not please let me know. I like to think of it as kind of like the mystic tag in Divinity Original Sin 2, where it feels just like an extra bit of unique dialog without really effecting the game overall

Divinity 2. My language. Love that game. Yes, yes, yes. Bring the visions on. I tend to reward good role playing, like to break the rules, and give OP stuff to lower level characters but make tough encounters.

Love it, Sariel!  I've also played Divinity 2.  Awesome game.  This story is shaping up to be a good one.

If you all still have it, we could totally play that sometime. amazing game and multiplayer is really fun if you know the people your playing with.

Hey folks. Characters...I kind of just asked you to make characters, but there's a lot of sourcebooks available to you with my content-sharing in the campaign. Before we get too far, if there are things you want to change, go for it. Xanathar's, Mordenkainen's, and a lot of other stuff is open but please keep it to Faerun (the world we're in) content please. This is the one and only chance you'll have to re-spec. I'm sorry I forgot to set that "session zero" with you all from the start. My bad.

Also, if Yasmin doesn't respond, we'll move on without her and I'll post recruitment for two more players.

Sounds like a plan to me. other than a few spells later on, I think Sariel is good to go. It would be a shame to lose Yasmin, but its understandable if its necessary. I might revise a small bit of my backstory if Yasmin isn't going to stay in the game, but other than that Sariel is going to stay the same.

My only question for you is will it be possible for Sariel to get the UA magic tattoos? 1. they're pretty cool with some unique abilities, and 2. they would fit Sariel Perfectly, what with her having multiple tattoos across her body anyway (that she might reveal at a later date)

What do they entail? I'm not familiar with them.

They have multiple functions depending on which tattoo you get. the Barrier tattoo acts as magical armor, raising your AC depending on the type (light Barrier is 12+DEX, Med barrier is 15+dex w/ max of +2, and Heavy barrier is 18 flat AC) there are also utility tattoos, like the Illuminators Tattoo, which allows you to write with your fingertips, as if they were ink pens with unlimited ink. and then there is the really cool tats like Ghost Walk Tattoo, which gives you 3 charges. as an bonus action, you can use a charge to become ethereal, allowing you to walk through solid objects and creatures as if they were difficult terrain until the end of your turn. I can create a list and post the link if you want to see them all. They give a very unique set of abilities and open opportunities that might normally be impossible.

 Okay. For level 1, pick 1 only up to uncommon to start. We can work in some tattoo manifestation role play stuff as we go. 

Given free reign, that shit is way too OP, but as we go it'll work into your character nicely. Y'all are going to get some OP stuff, so don't worry.

Pick 1 (one) ONE and only one uncommon magic item you want to start with. Pass it through me first before adding to your character sheet. This will put everyone on the same level of play, per say.

I totally understand. i wasn't asking for the super OP ones, I was thinking more like the Barrier Tattoos or the utilities. just so the squishy wizard isn't one hit killed by stubbing a toe. and I'm totally ok with paying for an enchanter to enchant my tattoos with abilities too, so as to earn them, rather than a "poof, magic tattoo is magic" type situation.
