The group quickly grabs the oars and work hard against the current. They come rapidly approaching towards a rocky cliff with a large old tower a top of it but are able to steer the boat around. Ahead of them lies a destroyed ship and an old dock. Captain Bonehand yells "THERE, ALL BACKWARDS!" The group does the best they can with Francis assisting Herman in his rowing.
The first mate jumps on to the dock with a rope and quickly ties it as best he can. Then jumping back on to the boat, he quickly runs over and drops the anchor bringing the boat to a stop next to the dock, with the only sound being the strong waves of the current crashing into the side of the boat.
At the edge of the dock, the group sees a make shift settlement surrounded by a large, wooden wall. It appears that the outer wall has even been made with pieces of the ship that is wrecked next to the dock.
Captain Bonehand jumps down from the helm and says to the group "Well, we made it somewhere... This should be the island of Sinbell's Estate, but we may have to ask the locals for confirmation." Looking at the wrecked boat he makes an awkward expression before saying "Although I hope our fate is better than theirs...."
during the chaos with the sea serpent, herman almost forgot all about the captains fascinating skeletal hand until just now. he begins eyeing it yet again
" Yes, this place seems grim. Perhaps we can find a place to take a breather. I wonder if the locals are even still here with a serpent like that cutting off any travelers in this direction." He looks around. " Is the boat safe for us to disembark or do we need to help you with anything else?" Looking over the masts. " It certainly seems like we need some repairs."
The captain's hand is quite the oddity. It appears the flesh of his hand is completely gone and cut off precisely at the wrist. The skin covering the wrist looks natural and has been there for a while now.
The boat is tied to the dock and there would be no issues with leaving the ship.

The guard looks for a second and then looks out and sees the boat at the dock "Thank the gods. Have you come to rescue us?" The guard turns around and says something to the people inside before he says "Come closer! Slowly... If what you say is true, we can discuss inside the safety of the wall."
Upon entry into the settlement, the group finds one large tent and a few small tents inside the wooden wall. The guard looks at Francis and says "UNDEAD!" he raises his bow and readies to attack.
