As you are all taken down to the next level, you have only a moment to catch your breath before you are completely submerged underwater. It only takes a second for you all to realize that you are in a 40-foot cube fish tank.
20 ; 48 ; 75
(OOC: Note that the time that you spend OOC deciding rooms will not affect how quickly you run out of breath, but spellcasting and combat rounds will affect it.)
There are three doors in the back of the room, the door on the left has a faintly glowing amulet. The door in the center has a single potion bottle on it with a swirling black liquid and the door on the right has an image of a sack of gold that is glowing faintly.
As the group quickly swims to the door with the amulet on it, they push it open and find themselves in an identical fish tank. Only this time, there are two large pincer-like aberrations in the center of the room that snap menacingly at the party.
(You may reposition up to 5 feet away from the door)
Using his re-position, and then movement, Chan swims up to the nearer of the creatures activating his shield as he does, firing off a star arrow. Once he gets into range he also slams his shield into the creature for some additional acid damage.
BA: star shot: Attack: 13 Damage: 9 action: shield slam Attack: 19 Damage: 10
(OOC: Unfortunately T12 is 10 feet from the door... I have highlighted valid repositioning squares in orange on the Notes tab of the Google Sheet.)
Chan continues to hold his breath as he moves forward towards the creatures and fires off a radiant bolt. Unfortunately, the bolt goes wide and is unable to connect with either of the creatures. However, once he has closed in, the aasimar manages to land a powerful shield strike against one of the creatures that sends acid spraying into it.
Gogon is up next! (Although Yuno may still queue!)

Queuing...
I think even without repositioning Yuno should be able to get to 10T.
Yuno swims to 10T. The water was making her sluggish but she was still itching for a fight even here. She drew her Dusk Crusher and her Sun blade and and laid into the Chuul that Chan attacked. She swung her hammer to crack the shell followed by twin lunges at the same spot in an attempt to penetrate deeper into the beast.

Gogon held back the rising wave of panic. He could hold his breathe well, true, but how long were they going to remain submerged? Would they get a breath of air after defeating these monsters? The next two rooms? Three?
He pushed the thoughts aside as he swam toward the aberration directly in front of him. Either way, this was he next target, and his team wasn't going anywhere until these things were dead.
MOVE: To U-10 ACTION: Two spear thrusts (no disadvantage, yeah spears!) * Spear Thrust 1, Attack: 16, Magic Piercing Damage: 11 * Spear Thrust 2, Attack: 29, Magic Piercing Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. BONUS: Unarmed attack (w/ disadvantage) * Front Snap Kick, Attack: 25, Acid Damage: 15 REACTION: If damaged, use Rod of Retribution to retaliate * DC 13 DEX Save or take 9 Lightning Damage (or 4 damage instead on success)
Gogon quickly swims to the nearest monster and starts a flurry of attacks. Fortunately, his spear is unimpeded by the water so he is able to land two brutal thrusts against the creature, but even his kick, which feels strange in the water, manages to connect and send acid spraying into the creature.
Yuno, meanwhile, bullrushes the other monster and lets her weapons sear into the beast. Because of the strange movements required to attack underwater, her hammer blow is deflected off of the creature's heavy carapace, but the two sword thrusts connect resoundingly and sear large radiant scars into it.
The creature attacked by the monk attempts to grab at Gogon with both Pincers.
Pincer Attack: 24 Damage: 14 (If attack hits Gogon is grappled (Escape DC 14)) Pincer Attack: 14 Damage: 16 (If attack hits Gogon is grappled (Escape DC 14))

With Gogon trapped in its claws, the creature lets tentacles slither out of its mouth and attempts to poison Gogon with them.
Con Save (Against Poison): 6
Even with his natural resistance to poison, Gogon feels the poison overcome his body and the halfling finds himself paralyzed. Gogon can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of his turns (Con Save: DC13) to end the effect.
Sythm swims forward, then tries to scratch the creature with magically enhanced nails. Then, he mentally commands Wira to attack the same creature with her fire, hoping it will do some damage even underwater.
Wira uses her a Flame Seed attack, targeting Chuul 1. Attack: 15 Damage: 6 (unfortunately, Elemental Adept's effects do not apply, so the damage is automatically halved, dealing only 3 fire damage, if it hit).
While Sythm is able to swim closer to the nearest Chuul and strike it with his acid-enhanced nails, Wira is unable to concentrate very well surrounded by water. Thus, her fired flame shoots just wide of the creature.
The creature that is now surrounded by most of the party is quick to lash out at 3 Yuno and 1 Chan.
(Against Yuno) Attack: 23 Damage: 15 (If attack hits Yuno is grappled (Escape DC 14))
(Against Chan) Attack: 23 Damage: 9 (If attack hits Chan is grappled (Escape DC 14))
Chan spends his turn flailing around in the creature's claws helplessly. Unfortunately, he is unable to make any progress either with his arrow from melee or the subsequent shield bash.
Fortunately, Gogon manages to shake off the effect of the paralysis that had seized him before.
(Note: Similarly to another grapple, you would need to spend your action to attempt to break the grapple. It didn't matter in this case as literally, every roll was a natural 1, but for future reference, it takes your action to break these grapples.)
Yuno is up next!

Being the violent girl that she is, Yuno decides that she's going to break free from the Chuul1's hold. How is she going to do that? Simple! The Chuul can't hold her if its dead. She lunged with her Sun Blade and with how the hammer felt sluggish underwater, she tried to focus it on already damaged parts so it would be painful even with comparatively less force behind the hits.
