((I'd floated Tempest Centaur earlier, but went a different direction, so no toes to be stepped on there. Glad I'm not the only one that though that combo sounded cool!))
Oh, that's good. I noticed you also wanted to make it and worried that might happen. That's why I also added the option of a Druid. Glad it sorted out by itself.
I'm thinking about a Tempest Cleric. Either Centaur or Tortle for the race, probably. A second option is the Land Druid (not sure which yet), taking the Symic Hybrid as race, if allowed. I'm leaning more towards the Cleric but not sure yet.
I will edit with more details later.
So, using these rolls, I'll create Bleaseusck Tempest Cleric Centaur. He's mostly a melee-focused fighter, rather than a backline spellcaster. Lawful Neutral. For magical items, I hope tattoos are fine. I wasn't planning on that, but noticed Eldritch Claw Tattoo and thought this is a very interesting addition for a Centaur. If it's not an option, tell me and I'll search for something else. Also, I added starting equipment although I wasn't sure if I'm supposed to or not. If not - I'll take it off.
Bleaseusck was not born on "New Elbian". He comes from a distant land, on which he lived with his small tribe of Centaurs. In that tribe, they worshipped gods of weather. Amongst the members of the tribe, each could have chosen a different god to worship, and it was perfectly fine. One could worship the goddess of the bright, sunny days, while another might worship the god of the strong winds. Bleaseusck is a worshipper of the goddess of the storms. Any god can have many names, but when asked, Bleaseusck would say the goddess is named "Se-Ara". Worshipping the god didn't have any written customs either. Through trial and error, each member of the clan would eventually find what customs yield each reaction from their gods.
Although each clan member, usually, had good relationships with other clan members, the clan wasn't revered by other inhabitants of that distant land. In fact, they were shunned, if not chased away or even hunted. For that reason, when they happened to hear of a place where "monstrous" creatures can live with humans in peace, they sent someone to investigate whether the rumour is true or not. By the time Bleaseusck reached New Elbian, though, he had long given up about going back. No one in the tribe realised at the time how long the journey was. Maybe he could try to send a message somehow, but he wasn't sure where to anymore. At the very least, he knew that his goddess was still with him even when he finally reached his desired destination. The storms that he had encountered on the way were the greatest indicators, as well as the fact that his powers, granted by the goddess to her devoted follower, did not leave him.
(Leaving the end open so I could tie it to the campaign/other characters if needed. If not, we can just say he only recently arrived at the island.)
As for characteristics, Bleaseusk is a Centaur. His horse half is a common light-brown horse. His human half is a muscular man with long brown hair that reaches to his waist. He doesn't have any facial hairs though, or perhaps they're shaven. Either way, no beard or moustache. On his left shoulder is a black tattoo shaped like two hooves. His eyes are both dark brown. Bleaseusk doesn't know anyone in this strange land yet. He is suspicious of others and their mannerism. Eating meat seems like a sacrilegious act to him and he can't stand seeing others do it, but is more likely to walk away than start a fight, although his mood might make him act otherwise. He has a strong sense of honour, but this word might sometime mean different things to him than it would to others. He's not very forgiving, rather fierce and, although he'll try to hide it, is rather hot-tempered. He's also rather clumsy - it's not easy to be a Centaur in a world meant to accommodate humanoid creatures.
Thank you to everyone who submitted characters. After some very difficult choices (because there are many excellent characters to pick), I made the pick and these people should now have the campaign link.
I have made note of several other characters and if we get an opening in the campagn (or I get time to run a concurrent campaign), I will certainly PM players to see if they are interested.
