The map shows you, the location of the major hobgoblin forts. The two big fortresses are very close to the mountain pass, coving it from both sides. The fortresses are close to the mountain tops, hiddne from view from the human side of the mountain. The smaller outposts extend along the mountain range in both directions roughtly every 10 miles or so.
The eastern fortress is 2 days march away from where you are. The western fortress is 3 days march away.
For each 8 hour travelling, you will need to roll one Survival and one Stealth check (applies to the whole group). If you are not happy with the roll result, another character can roll, but each character can only roll once per travel day.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Survival: 20 Guidance: 1
Feature: Wanderer
You have an excellent memory for maps and geography, and you can always recall the general layout of terrain, settlements, and other features around you. In addition, you can find food and fresh water for yourself and up to five other people each day, provided that the land offers berries, small game, water, and so forth.
Serit, in his usual place in the middle, does what comes best to him, coasting. He watches and gives some unwanted critiques as the others go about getting the group through first day. As they set up camp, he does actually step up and help however. He clears a the space and sets the fire pit. While lazy seems to be his default, his time traveling with just Gara has him in auto mode during the hard camp work.
"We did a great job on this first day. As for our first stop, I feel we should go to the furthest fort first. Yes, it is more time traveling but back tracking will be easier once we secure their assistance."
The firbolg rather brusquely takes over fire building duties, but allows Serit's help. Once the fire is lit, he sits before it watching and scratching bear.
"Want berries for dinner? Are good for you.", he asks aloud, seemingly addressing the party, though he doesn't look up from the flame.

Having been on high alert during the trip, Vrakskan allows himself to relax a little as the group sets up the camp, putting his heavy greataxe aside as he helps.
He listens quietly as Serit speaks, as he doesn't know enough about hobgoblins to give his own opinion. When he does speaks, it is very quietly. "...What if the other forts sees us as we pass them? Wouldn't we look like a threat?"
He nods to the firbolg when they suggest berries. "That would be delightful. Thank you."
"Depends on how sneaky we are at getting past the first fort I suppose." Nasaar says. He nods his acceptance to the offer of berries. As they travel though he would have been foraging, getting food for himself, and the others, to eat as they set up camp.

"Well, likely just head to one of the major forts." Nasaar says with a nod, taking in the map. "Shouldn't be hard to find."
"Is this way? You catch up. We go.", the firbolg and bear head off into the woods.

The fire-bolg is good at getting around in the wilds, but Vrakskan seems to be doing a competent job, so they just walk along with bear.

You can only make one roll. I'll take the survival as the first one rolled. Other team members need to cover the rest.
Stealth Roll 15
Gruntor, despite being large and armored can move stealthily when needed.

I cannot see the roll either. I will assume it's a pass for now.
That's half of the first day, travelling at reasonalbe speed. Now roll for second 8 hour leg of the day (anyone except Vrakskan and Gruntor).

You successfully finish travelling the first day, and find a safe spot at the edge of the forest to camp. Night falls.

„Sure, i‘ll try some“ Gara replies, while he instructs his plant golem to take watch.

What order are you setting night watch?
