The classes which get a bonus-action dash or disengage are Rogue and Monk. Those - especially Monk - are the classes which fit the speed-utilizing fighter niche. For the actual Fighter class, you could take the Mobile feat which gives more movement and gives a free disengage if you make an attack.
several “orc” variants have access to bonus action dash abilities that would help with this fighter concept.
“Aggressive. As a bonus action, you can move up to your movement speed toward a hostile creature you can see or hear. You must end this move closer to the enemy than you started.“
“Adrenaline Rush. You can take the Dash action as a bonus action. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. Whenever you use this trait, you gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus.”
one is more limited in use, but provides temporary hit points. The other has unlimited uses but has restrictive language regarding where the movement has to end relative to an enemy.
