I will be playing at level 14, I’m shooting for fighting with my claws or daggers, or some other close quarters weapon. Suggestions on point allocation (via point buy), feats, ability selection, rune selection would be helpful. General idea might be to maybe grapple my opponents and stab and claw them to death. Thoughts would be greatly appreciated, I don’t have much experience as all with fighters.
You’ll certainly want str as high as possible if you’re going to be grappling a lot. With your racial weapon, you don’t have to worry about tavern brawler. One problem will be damage, only hitting for a d4 it will take you a long time to do much. But it seems more like a battlefield control than a damage build, so pick things that help with that- you holding the enemy in place while the rogue sneak attacks it. Sentinel feat could be fun for that, stopping them so you can grab them on your turn. I’d suggest going the dagger route instead of claws at L14, if only for magic daggers. If you run into enemies resistant to non magical damage, your claws are next to useless. Either that or see if your dm will allow you to homebrew magic gloves that still let you use claws or something.

If you're going to grapple, I cannot recomment Athlete feat more. It's one of the few ways to jump high enough to deal fall damage to someone you're holding without Jump spell, which means you can weaponize your movement, not just actions and bonus actions. Sure, only d6 fall damage isn't much, but it adds up and anyone who took fall damage lands prone, so free advantage for you and your palls.
