I had posted a similar thread on the forums a while back, but I don't think I provided enough context to the character I wanted to create for that thread to really decide. So here goes:
My character is going to be an embodiment of sin itself, whose father is a devil VERY similar to the one depicted in Christian Religion. But despite being the daughter of a devil, she looks VERY much like a human, and an absolutely gorgeous one at that. (Still, I am using the tiefling race for a race due to her lineage.) This is part of the concept is all about: sin may LOOK beatuiful on the outside, but is totally merciless on the inside.
A lot of people on the old thread suggested the Bard College of Glamor, but I want to hear your ideas if they are different. I have decided she WILL be at least a spellcasting class.
Literally any class works for this class because the concept is vague enough that it doesn't actually provide any useful details. It's barely a step above asking us to choose a class based on her hair color.
You said you want her to be a spellcaster, but what kind of spells are you thinking of? Blasting? Debuffing? Mind control? Buffing and/or healing? Do you want her to be just a caster or do you want her to have some other combat abilities?

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
Literally anything would work depending on the flavor you choose. It may be helpful if you narrow it down with a particular era or culture that you want to use for inspiration.
"Sin", in the Judeo-Christian sense, is typically interpreted to mean the 7 Deadly Sins: Pride, Greed, Wrath, Envy, Lust, Gluttony, and Sloth. In short, Absolute Egoism and a lack of inhibitions. Most of which is really class-ambivalent. This is also related to the issue of things being distasteful or admirable when the person doing it is either low-income or high-income, respectively. The bottom line is Power. "Sin" is sexy if you can afford it, but disgusting if you can't.
I haven't read your other thread, but the reason that Bards were likely popular is that Devils are charming. They seduce and encourage sin. They're powerful and sexy, in that "Devil Wears Prada" kind of way.
So ultimately, the ball is still in your court.
Canonically, Warlocks make the most sense to me. They derive their power from a terrifying patron, are Charisma-based, have potent magic, and can be just as comfortable at range or in melee. They're versatile and narratively-driven.
However, the nature of "Sin" is that it is present everywhere and in everyone. The only difference is that your character will make no effort to restrain themself. You could avoid classes that have a strict "Code" or "Oath", but it would be better to just hand wave those bumpers to avoid limiting your choices, if your DM will allow it.
Edit: Another pro for Warlocks is that many of their Invocations effectively change their magical nature, which makes them more like a magical "monster" than most other classes. However, even then, spells can be reflavored as such easily enough.

Ok! Humorously, The lore for this character is that she has the 7 deadly sins as pets! I can see why you choose that. I can easily make some changes!
That tidbit of your character's lore is a great development focus.
Given that, you might choose the Pact of the Chain and double down on incorporating your "pets" into everything else you do. Perhaps use Summoning Spells to "manifest" the various sin to fight on your behalf.
You could reflavor the "summoning" as a transformation of the pet itself.
I can’t help but think that you described a character who is great at deception and persuasion who uses lots of enchantment and illusion spells to beguile and control her victims.

Yeah, that is basically the concept. But here is the weird thing: SHE LOVES HUGS!
My rendition would be a Warlock, with a Fiend patron. The idea being that this Prince would be extremely charming and charismatic, ideal for a manipulative ruler. And as this individual would be the 'Prince' their Patron would be the god, or divine ruler of whatever hell it was.
The one thing talking "against" the warlock is the pact. Would the Devil's daughter enter a pact with another "godlike" being? On the other hand, pacts are a really devilish thing...
You could consider sorcerer. There bound to be some power in your blood due to your heritage. But as the first answer said: with that concept all classes could work. I mean, barbarians are quite wrathful after all :-)

First off, it is a Princess, second off, her "patron" would be her father

Thanks for your idea, but I have already deduced that she would be a non melee oriented class already.
I have a very similar character from 4th edition tiefling Warlock Infernal Pact Princess of Hell to 5th edition. I used a Cambion Warlock for the flavor but tiefling can also work. As for the pact well of course her patron is her daddy, see it as a blood tie. I would suggest looking at the Rulers of The Nine Hells, The Archdevil and find your daddy. ;) No pun intended. Have fun :)

Even though I’ve never played one, have you considered making her a Bard? The College of Eloquence Fits your concept incredibly well.

There are different ways to go about it.
