My favorite aspect of DnDB is the adventures with links and tooltips available for monsters/npcs. It makes running the adventure really easy, not needing to cross reference 3 (or more) books to play the game.
My wish here is to be able to create my own adventures, populated with art, story background, encounter tables, maps, homebrew magic items and monsters. It has the possibility to be the ultimate campaign manager. Is something like that possible or on the roadmap for improved DM tools?
That would be amazing! But to be honest you can already do that, just create a thread on forum and post there. You already can add images, create homebrew stuff and make them public. Also if you use chrome try this extension, it will make even easier to add things like:

- tooltips for oficial and homebrew content (Aarakocra, Ancient Red Hydragon, Zato's Chaos Spike, Grappler);
- rollable tables (the style is better, also you can roll on it with the extension):
- references to other books: Activating an Item, A Giant’s Bag (those become also tooltips for extension users)
And I cast Heroism on the community.
