So I'm working on this homebrew subclass for artificer called "Stitcher." It's main feature is its Undead Abomination, a single undead they command that they can upgrade with corpses from different creature types.
Now these upgrades are called "enhancements" and I want to make it so they can choose as many enhancements as their INT modifier. But they can also sacrifice infused item slots in exchange for enhancement slots.

How would I go about doing this?
You can't At best you can just give them all the options and hope they play by the rules.
