As the title states, as a sloppy toggle is this a viable option to drop a character in for the '24 rule set options and is it even allowable under wizbrows rules to do so (I would love some feedback with undeniable authority on this subject preferably in MOD hat on colors and the ability to hold some feet to the fire, not just speculation from accounts with the power to moderate) it , to me would seem to be a viable workaround to the less than lackluster options in the current tool set. Though I am less than encouraged to throw hard coin to test this theory at my expense if I have misread/misinterpreted the very vague legaleze in the TOS/EULA/Site Rules & Guidelines and risk all I have spent on an account deletion.
Being able to drop a character into a campaign with the ruleset seems to be a workable proxy to a toggle for the new ruleset even though the new basic rules are still forced on us in the character builder (major frowny face!!)
Thoughts, as this seems to be the only way I can see to buy into this not a new edition.

I guess an issue could be, mostly for DMs, that if you've bought adventures, then you'd either have to rebuy them on the new account or lose them. Which is basically the same thing they were asking of other users but in reverse...but still.
Perhaps customer support could remove those purchases. Or better yet, they could introduce that toggle or even a filter for it.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.

In my current account with all of my purchases if I drop a character from an account with the new books in a campaign with content sharing I and everyone else in the campaign would have access to the new rules set; if we want to play without the new rule set I could leave the character out and only have to deal with the "free/basic " rule set as there is no toggle for that currently which seems odd, but does save some weirdness from the 14 ruleset. At least that is how I am seeing it. I am just looking for the best of both worlds with a way to manage the rule set in an easy way since wizbro seems set on making it difficult to keep the 24 stuff out of games. I am looking for down sides to having two accounts one pre 24, and one post 24 with having a master tier on one and the ability to "toggle" rule sets by including a character in the campaign. I do realize if any player has the 24 book(s) this option becomes moo, but I can't see a down side other than that eventuality. Considering I am the biggest source of owned content in the majority of the games I play this seems like an appropriate work around with no downsides other than having a character not playing in the campaign used as a "toggle" for rule sets unless another player has the 24 stuff as ide from the free 24 stuff that we can not turn off (which in most cases seem to be eratta more than anything)
