Making a martial homebrew class feature that's supposed to be similar in power to hybrid class spellcasting; is 20 max points (like the monk) a good amount at level 20 or should the amount be different?
I'm questioning whether this feature uses AC or hp as it's point resource, as this class has an abundance of both at level 20, and when the duration of the effect ends characters can recover half of the expended resources (at high levels).
Assuming you mean the spell point variant system from the DMG, if you're going for a half-caster class you should give it the spell points for a 10th level spellcaster.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

That depends on how much the powers cost to use.

Oh but the resource pool I'm using doesn't have spell slots, the resource is flexible like ki points
