Let's say I make a Adventurer's League World VTT with each character, spell, and item being a NFT because I want them all to have unique identifiers to be tradable or sellable in game with no cheating like items in World of Warcraft and I write code so that people can only equip or use NFT objects. Now lets say in the VTT World, I put in a pay to win or microtransaction or Lootbox system to generate extra revenue. I can see how this could become predatory. Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms would be a good example of a predatory NFT...... but that is specifically licensed by WOTC.
