The thing that's bugging me the most with the new content in the character creation isn't anything mechanical, but more flavor stuff that just made making a character faster to give a baseline to then build off of
Backgrounds don't have tables for ideals bonds and flaws (and the 'replacement' of personality traits based upon alignment are nowhere near a substitute) Random name generator is generic now instead of by species name character pictures don't organize by species, and you have to dig through the whole mess
Yes, it's a more minor problem, I can always type these things in manually or grab the 2014 version and add them then switch back, but the convenience of DDB takes a large hit, and new players won't know that there is interesting character traits tied to background to lay a quick foundation for designing a character.
