Is there an easy way to create homebrew in D&D Beyond? I've struggled to always get the format precisely correct so that it consistently generates clickable buttons. I
Example: Suppose I want an greataxe-wielding monster that has +5 to hit and +9 damage. (This is from the Legacy Orc statblock). The entry that needs to go into the homebrew monster editor for attacks is
Greataxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d12 + 3) slashing damage.
What I am looking for is an app where maybe I enter Greataxe, select Melee Weapon Attack from dropdown, with data fields to enter reach/range, to gut bonus, damage bonus, and damage type, click a button, and it prints out what I need to copy and paste into the D&D Beyond homebrew editor.
The app spits back all the tedious syntax, and I copy and paste it. I was just working with ChatGPT to try to do this, and it came close, but still messed some things up. It occurred to me this problem has likely been solved already by people much cleverer than I am. Anything like this, or other ideas to make this easier for me? I bet 1/3rd of my DM prep time goes into stuff like this.
