I am leading the storyline campaign. Sometimes players go away or die. They consider it their duty to immediately delete their characters. Is there a way to hide of block the "Remove" button from them? I some times need there characters. Even if they are dead. ))
As far as I know, players can always delete their own characters, but if you make an unassigned character, they can only relinquish it. You can't stop someone from deleting their own character, or delete someone else's.
Yeah, would be good if we had a "lock" option, I have one player who has deleted his character twice by "accident". How does one do that? Also an option to lock the ability scores, I conduct character audits as that one player keeps changing his stats from Standard Array to Manual.
I don't think they're ever going to add features that take away players control over their own characters. Maybe you need to make all the characters as unassigned characters?

Then the players would not be in the campaign to view the characters. Plus they could always claim them then delete them.

None that I am aware of. Just ask the players not to delete them.
