When you're making a magic item, use something else as a template to see how DDB adds it in there. For instance, the Staff of Striking has a +3 to both attack and damage. Use that as the template, delete everything you dont want, update the text and/or change the type of weapon into one you're looking for. I generally make my items that way so I dont have to re-enter everything every time I want to add it.
The modifier is bonus - Magic. Like belx said, you can use an existing magic weapon as a template, like any simple magic weapon with +3 to hit and damage (I hope you are planning to add extra effects rather than just make a magic weapon that already exists).
I've tried everything in the magic item builder and I cannot find it.
