With all the COVID-19 stuff and cities starting to do shelter orders to reduce the spread....May I suggest that Virtual Table Top/Gameboard on the road map might be an idea to consider moving up out of long term/considered? Just saying it would be a nice thought even if its a Pre-Alpha stage :D
I want to say "sort of." On one hand a lot of things on the road map are precursors to a VTT, take combat tracker and dice roller for example. Also a lot of things need some priority treatment, namely the character sheet and builder, campaign features (like sharing items, better content restriction, and DM screens (which is also a precursor feature)), and homebrew revamp.
I do really want a VTT though, so I would love it if they started hammering out these features I mentioned (and AL support).
I made a Roll20 account today. I like it but not everyone in my group has the dual or widescreen monitors needed to display both the VTT and a Beyond character sheet. I would want to have the combat tracker up at the same time.
I'm fine without and would still prefer they focus on the tools they already are. Let others continue to refine their VTTs rather than DDB jumping in late and starting from scratch. Roll30, Fantasy Grounds, Astral and others are already out there.

There are freely available modules so you can use a D&D character sheet inside the VTT. Once you fill it out, you can then click on various parts of the character sheet to make the relevant rolls.

I would be fine with just a basic grid and some tokens nothing fancy 😷
