There's currently no action button associated with items, but word is it's in the works.
Till then pretty much everything needs to be in the description. You could use the "set" function under modifiers to lock in a stat at 3 (I'm thinking gloves of clumsiness,) but that would always effect the character.
I'm drawing a blank on triggers, will set up a separate thread.

Is there any way a Max HP modifier (negative) can be tied to an item?
I haven't been able to successfully apply this modifier to an item (Homebrew) in hopes of dishing out a stack-able, fixed, Max HP deficit to players.
Thoughts?
The idea: Curse Token. Every time the players "do something" they receive an additional curse token. (It's harsh, but brings balance).
Or is there another way to approach this?
