As a DM, I stumbled across the children's book series, The Five Kingdoms. I read through it and tried to figure out their magic. It is called Shaping. I decided to make a D&D Supplement for the shaping rules set in the alternate world called the Outskirts. I used real locations in the series and tried my best to imitate the shaping power through points and feats. I spent a month working out the kinks and typing this up, trying to copy the WotC handbooks with a website I found. I hope someone can use this, maybe someone who is DMing a group for kids, at summer camps or in a home group.
Five Kingdoms D&D Supplement - Click this link. You can print out all 16 pages, but they often do not turn out looking very pretty.
If you guys have any feedback, or anything else, I'd appreciate the comments to help improve this (unofficial) supplement.
Hey so I came across this and had some questions about actually using shaping points. So explain to me how you spend them, and how you get them back because the stuff about shape point maximums were a lil bit confusing. Thanks :) Also would you have any tips or fun ideas for a homebrew game of this for a couple of friends? (encounters, specific characters, ect.)
