Hey guys, so I wanted to have a cool weapon reward with the completion of a side arc. The story is that they have to go and fight a wright, who is the previous chieftan of an tribe that worships their ancestors. The idea is he was killed and then corrupted by big badie(lead to the main storyline), and is now haunting the tomb of the ancestors, where the ghosts of the ancestors aid and protect the village from. So if they fight and kill this wright, the ghosts of the ancestor chieftans will come out and thank them, ask them do destroy the weapon of the wright cheiftain( because by his choice or not, he was corrupted and not fit to protect the village). They will then offer to them the pick of one weapon that had been owned by a previous chieftan. I wanted to put a unique and cool enchantment on it called the blessing of the ancestors, and I was thinking maybe something like this?
*At least 3 players from the group can pledge their bonus action to you if they are within 10 feet of you, and you can deal an extra 1d6 damage to an enemy. The three who pledged can not use their bonus action in the next round. For each three pledges, you will gain an additional 1d6 . Pledges can only be made for current round, so if the bonus action is already used, you can not pledge, and you also can not pledge more than one bonus action at a time. *Disadvantage on attacks while wielding this weapon when you do not have one of your group within 10 ft of you and the enemy has any ally within 10 ft.
What you think? Needs more work, or something totally different?
Thanks!
