So I have a campaign going and my party just got their first salvo of magic items. I gave one of them a very rare "arc-blade"so I want the others too have equally powered items.
I gave my artificer character a gun, wooden and finely detailed in silver. It uses the automatic rifle stats in the Dungeon Masters Guide, as a base it's already pretty strong but I don't know. it's supposed to be used to kill monsters (Cryptids in particular).
I gave my other player a pendant that looks like the face of the Moth-Man. He is a path of the beast barbarian that gets very bestial when raging, he is a direct descendant of the Moth-Man. I imagine it having some sort of buff when he's raging, like increased flight speed (He is an arrockra, for flight) or increased claw damage while raging? I want it to have some sort of frenzy feature. Something like when he kills something he gets some sort of buff.
Thanks! I have home-brewed things in the past before, so I don't need you to make the whole thing for me. Just some ideas will help! (Also, that thread with the arc-blade has some other really high quality art and items.)
For the barbarian try getting reference from the Insignia of claws, and the gun try getting rules from the gunslinger subclass misfire and such unless the weapon is so advanced that it doesn't have one.
