How would you go about making a balanced artificer if you were to be able to multiclass into a different subclass of artificer?
What would be the pros and cons from a playability standpoint?
What would make it broken if it were to be overpowered (being on par with other insane RAW builds available I'd think would be a fair cutoff)?
Both from a mechanics standpoint as well as a "flavor" standpoint, if allowed, what would the base mechanics you would expect from a playable character look like to you from a player standpoint?
If you were a DM/GM how would you implement something like this?
Multisubclassing is a cool idea, but generally considered a faux pas due to how... weird certain things can get. If you could do it, then for some classes there would be ways to milk an extra feature due to gaps in subclass features that could be overcome. For some classes there would also be levels where you gain absolutely nothing, since the spots where the subclass features are gained would be thrown off. You would think it would be simple on account of the class mostly staying the same, but it really isn't.

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.
