I recently heard an suggestion where druids should kill any beast the wish to wildshape in the future (instead of simply watching them) just to make it more "interesting". I know that it doesn't feel much at home with druids traditions, but still it gave an idea of something I haven't seen: Circle of Savagery
This is just an initial draft, I've never used a druid since I mostly DM so I figured that maybe some would have some ideas of how to improve this subclass...or maybe just show some interest.
Circle of Savagery
Druids within the Circle of Savagery grew up in nomadic tribes and learned from an early age that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, for some that may be a extreme way of living but for them it is just the natural order of life, as nature often leans on this wild behavior. These druids grow stronger with each creature they subdue often by killing though some may prove to be more merciful.

Call of the wild
2nd-level Circle of Wildfire feature
As an Action, You can expend one use of your Wild Shape feature to call a Feral beast from one of the tables below depending on the location where you used the feature.
---- Tables based on CR and Environment -----
The beast will appear on a random location within 30 ft. of the druid on the next round with initiative count of 20 and will be hostile towards any creature that it can see.
When the beast drops to 0 HP you will deal an additional dice of damage equal to the beast's highest damage dice when you hit with a weapon or an unarmed strike as part of the Attack Action on your turn, you can deal this extra damage only once per turn.
You'll keep the extra damage for 1 hour, or until you use this feature to call another Feral beast again, or until you die.
If you slayed the beast, the next time that another beast with the same name answers to the call, it'll be friendly towards you and your companions.
Fierce Nature
Starting at 6th level, your attacks in beast form, the attacks made by the feral beast and the extra damage described on the Call of the Wild feature count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
Untamed
Starting at 10th level, add your proficiency bonus to any damage made in beast form, made by the feral beast or the extra damage described on the Call of the Wild feature.
What if you also gave the Primal Savagery cantrip as a circle spell and allowed adding the extra damage to it?
it could be, the cantrip definetely screams "circle of savagery" maybe it'll be fine by changing the wording from "when you hit with a weapon or an unarmed strike" whenever you make a melee attack or melee spell attack (not sure if one of these are mutually exclusive. I'll make some research to find out if a melee attack will consider both spell and normal attack)
the new wording would allow primal savagery, shillelagh, thorn whip so it should be ok.

Hello everyone,
I recently heard an suggestion where druids should kill any beast the wish to wildshape in the future (instead of simply watching them) just to make it more "interesting". Looks good!
