Here's my cleric domain that I made for my homebrew campaign because there isn't a domain for music/poet gods. I would love to hear your feedback. Also I'm not the best at homebrew so a lot of the abilities are similar to other domains.
1st level
Bonus Proficiencies
At 1st level, you gain proficiency in performance and one musical instrument of your choice
Resonant Tone
When you are attacked by a creature within 15 feet of you that you can see, you can use your reaction to cause the creature to make a Wisdom saving throw. The creature takes 2d6 thunder damage and the next attack against the creature has advantage. If the creature is deafened they are immune to this feature. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
2nd level
Channel Divinity: Angelic Melody
As an action, you present your holy symbol and sing a long forgotten song, and a sphere of music notes dance around you. The sphere is centered on you and has a 30-foot radius. The sphere moves with you, and it lasts for 1 minute or until you lose your concentration (as if you were concentrating on a spell). Creatures of your choice up to your wisdom modifier (minimum of 1) in the sphere can add 1d6 to attack rolls and saving throws. If a creature is deafened they do not gain the benefits of the channel divinity.
6th level
Channel Divinity: Heavenly Lullaby
The user looks at a creature and sings a soothing lullaby. The creature makes a wisdom saving throw if they fail the creature falls unconscious for 1 minute. The creature wakes up if they take any damage or if another creature uses its action to shake the sleeper awake.
8th level
Divine Strike
At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with divine energy. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 thunder damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.
17th level
Improved Melody
The long forgotten song that you sing gains a new melody. The creatures of your choice from your Angelic Melody also regain a number of hit points equal to 2d8 + your Wisdom modifier

Yeah totally feel free to do so!
Also those edits make sense so I might change that as well. But if you find some other edits that work well feel free to let me know as well.
Why do so many people make clerics and paladins without giving them the domain or oath spells that's like one of the most important parts
