This just came to me, using the real world in a D&D style adventure. Not just using a map, like actually leaving your house and going on an adventure. Like pokemon Go but without an app. You could even make it more fun by interacting with real people. I know, it sounds a lot like LARP which is it basically would be but you do it outside your local park. Actually travel around. Set different locations as key points in the game. Obviously it'd be easier with a short campaign that could be finished in a day or just pick up in the same location you leave off. How you travel and how far would be up to the DM but for ease of returning to your car at the end of the adventure I'd recommend not going to far unless you're all avid walkers. I haven't put a lot of thought into it as I literally just now came up with the idea. Curious what you all think and what ideas you have for such an idea. Might even be fun to incorporate into a solo play.
