I'm new to the DnD realm(been playing mainly 3.5) but I have been looking into all the races and I recently became infatuated with the Lionfolk. After reading both the 3.5e and 5e versions I put them together along with adding things like darkvison( Cats can see in the dark dammit lol) and a few other things. So I'm just here to post my "Homebrew" Lionfolk page I'm kind of new to the whole Homebrew thing so suggestions are ALWAYS welcome.
Lionfolk (Homebrew)
Your lionfolk character has a number of traits in common with all other lionfolk, many of which involve either might or mind.
Ability Score Increase: Your Strength increases by 2
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Beast Speech. Beast Speech is a language exclusive to beastfolk, derived from their own need for cultural identity and privacy. Beast Speech is simple, emphasizing many words involving the letter n, and words can have multiple, but similar, meanings, so it is a language where misinterpretation can easily occur. Beast Speech uses the Slyvan script.
Brave. You have advantage on saving throws against being frightened.
Age. Lionfolk consider themselves adults at age 33. They commonly live about 150 years, but some have lived as long as 180 years, despite those lionfolk being markedly infirm by that time.
Alignment. Lionfolk value order and honor above all things, tending towards law. Lionfolk have a strong disposition towards good, but when pushed to follow the rules or follow their heart, many will choose the former.
Size. Lionfolk are tall and muscular, standing between 6'2” and 7'2” when they reach adulthood. They usually weigh around 200–270 lbs. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 40 feet.
Carnivore: A Lionfolk is a carnivore and must have meat in any form at least once a day or suffer 1d4 points of Constitution damage. They can eat and digest plants, and often do, but cannot subsist primarily on vegetation.
Natural Weapons: Lionfolk have two claw attacks that deal 1d6 damage, and a bite attack that does 1d8 damage.
If Natural Weapons are being used, a full turn must be taken to draw any other weapon.
Feline Perception: Have darkvision up to 90 ft
Feline Reflexes: Can Fall From 20-25 ft without taking damage, or half damage if wearing heavy armor.
There are 2 Subclasses for Lionfolk
Ironclaw Lionfolk
Ironclaw lionfolk are aggressive and passionate. They view combat with a great zeal, which can border on brutality, but they are usually well-meaning and possess a lust for life. Many ironclaw lionfolk enlist in the national military or serve as mercenaries.
Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Leonin Brutality. Ironclaw lionfolk instinctively work with other members of their pride to talk down prey. When you and an ally are both within 5 feet of a hostile creature, that ally has a +2 bonus on the first damage roll it makes against that creature on each of its turns.
Firemane Lionfolk
Where ironclaw lionfolk are zealous, firemane lionfolk are more measured, and they tend to look before they leap. This gives them a tendency towards positions of leadership, such as military officers and political advisers. Some even work as high up as governorship, and a few lionfolk have become Lord Governor since the Commandments of the Nine. Firemane lionfolk are called such due to their thick red manes that makes their faces look ablaze.
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 1.
Leonin Tactics. As natural leaders, firemane lionfolk have an easy time both capturing a foe's attention and providing allies a means of escape. If you and an ally are both within 5 feet of a creature, you can use your reaction on your ally's turn to allow that ally to Disengage as a bonus action.

Should be 30 ft. You make up the speed of the cat using Feline Agility trait that a Tabaxi has. The reason why is while cats are fast their speed is in short burts, they are designed for sprinting not long running. This is true of all cats from your domestic cat to the tigers, lions and cheetahs. When not sprinting cats are not that fast compared to other animals. They pad along much like any other. When hunting they typically try to stalk as close to their prey as they can (yes, even lions use stealth) and then go for the sprint to close the gap and get the prey. The Feline Agility trait is an exaggerated reflection of this. The trait represents the sprint while the listed speed is as it is for all other creatures on average: 30 ft. The base speed listed is "walking speed" and this represents the speed you walk at not run. That is why there is difference between movement and dashing in a turn.
Carnivore: A Lionfolk is a carnivore and must have meat in any form at least once a day or suffer 1d4 points of Constitution damage. They can eat and digest plants, and often do, but cannot subsist primarily on vegetation.
Just nope. Worthless thing to add and Con damage?! Why? No race at all takes Con damage from lack of nourishment, the requirement to eat something nourishing is already a requiment in a long rest and going without long rest can lead to exhaustian and eventually death in a week. This is already extreme over real life since this means in D&D you can die from starvation in 6 days(if you take exhaustian which normally done with a Con save to see) but in real life a human or lion can go weeks even over a month without food. Your trait here is adding nonsensical extreme on top of nonsensical extreme. Please don't do that.
Natural Weapons: Lionfolk have two claw attacks that deal 1d6 damage, and a bite attack that does 1d8 damage.
If Natural Weapons are being used, a full turn must be taken to draw any other weapon.
Absolute nope. There is no reason this should be more than what Tabaxi get. What you list here, from the way you word it, makes this the most powerful race there has ever been for D&D with 3 attacks, and the "two claw attacks" suggests two in a turn. For 1st level. Nope, nope nope. I would say this will be either 1d6 + STR claw and that's it (and is stronger than any other natural weapon unarmed strike any race gives you) or 1d4 + STR for claw or bite - essentially allowing you to do 1d4 + STR and choosing between Slashing (Claw) or Piercing (Bite). If you feel this is not enough then consider a trait like Maul Tactics where if you use a claw attack you may immediately use a bonus action to attempt a grpple or if you make a bite attack you may use your bonus action to try and bring the opponent down if it is one size larger than you or is smaller than that. The opponent makes a Strength save against DC 8 + your proficiency + your Strength modifier and on fail they are rendered prone.
If you go with Feline Agility and Maul Tactics I would not add much else because if you were a level 5 character with Extra Attack you could move 60 feet, bite, take down opponent then claw attack with advantage. That's pretty powerful for just racial abilities and one common class feature.
I'm dropping the quote-method as I'm running out of time. For the senses I would bring darkvision to normal 60 ft and grant Perception proficiency. Makes more sense and more useful. I would lose the no damage on falling thing, lions here are less dextrous in this capacity than other cats that tabaxi are based on, it makes no sense for lions to be able to jump off 2 storey buildings and take no damage considering lions in real life are less efficient climbers and jumpers than most other felines.

Afterthought addition: although I have gone after several points of your homebrew you should realise I only do this for stuff I am interested in, which means I like your homebrew and would not be posting if I didn't. I also welcome any catfolk variant because, YAY KITTIES!

Lionfolk (Homebrew)
There are 2 Subclasses for Lionfolk
Ironclaw Lionfolk
Firemane Lionfolk
Take a look at the tabaxi as a starting point.
Carnivore is more complicated and most people will ignore it.
Typically
The speed and Feline Reflexes might be too good.
Leonin Tactics: I think the reaction is overly complicated, perhaps let the bonus action action disengage be a static buff.
