Hoping this hasn't been posted somewhere already and I just missed it.
I'm trying to put a Bonus Proficiency feature into a homebrew subclass, and I want the player to have a choice between a few different options. When creating the feature, I select Modifier>Proficiency, but then my only options are single proficiencies or very specific choices (e.g. Choose a Centuar Skill, Choose a Dwarf Artisan's Tool, Choose a Skill, Choose an Intelligence/Wisdom/Charisma Skill, etc).
Is there any way to add specific options for the players to choose from rather than picking one of the pre-set options?
You have to set it up as a "Choice" option, configure the choices you'd like to have, and give each 'Choice' selection a bonus for the specific proficiency you're looking for. It's an annoying kludge, but it's functional and largely invisible on the character end.

how do you set them up as a "choice" to begin with?
