Serpents Starting at 6th level you gain blindsight and swim speed of 15ft.

Serpents Gaze Starting at 14th level .If a creature starts its turn within 30 feet of you and the two of them can see each other, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw if you are not incapacitated. On a failed save, the creature magically begins to turn to stone and is restrained. It must repeat the saving throw at the end of its next turn. On a success, the effect ends. On a failure, the creature is petrified until freed by the greater restoration spell or other magic. A creature that isn't surprised can avert its eyes to avoid the saving throw at the start of its turn. If it does so, it can't see you until the start of its next turn, when it can avert its eyes again.
If it looks at you in the meantime, it must immediately make the save. If you see your own reflection within 30 feet of it in bright light, you target yourself with your gaze.
once this is used it can not be used agina until a long rest.

I dont really understand the spells unlocked. They just dont say snake to me
The 1st level feature is just a weaker primal savagery. Just grant that.
Otherwise it does seem to fit the warlock theme of features at designated level. (Like a utility-ish feature at level 6, defensive at 10 & offensive at 14) which I like.
But be careful, the same reason why turn to stone & contagion spell is kind of underwhelming - too many saving throws. So many needed to fail in order to take effect but only 1 is needed in order to save & null.. granted, the effects of the spell are *that* bad but I dont know people who even bother taking or casting due to chance of it even taking hold.
(Not saying that it's a bad feature just my opinion on it)
It's actually solid & I would even say balanced though I possibly wouldn't mind something even *more* serpentine... but even if not, it's a fair build.
Consider looking at the yuan-ti. Both the playable race & all the monster varieties. Check out their abilities, skills & traits. See what can inspire you
I don’t think the swim speed of 15 does anything. PCs can already swim at half their normal rate of movement anyway.
I was thinking the same thing at first and on the surface you're right (the swim speed of anyone who doesn't have an actual swim speed is half of their walking speed) BUT take things into consideration such as certain currents that cause exhaustion (whether on a failed con save or even automatically) are inflicted unless they have a swim speed, or even more frequent, underwater combat - according to the rules, unless wielding specifically, a trident, spear, dagger, crossbow, etc you attack with disadvantage, unless you have an innate swim speed. Neither say a specific swim speed making it sound that even 5ft would be good for these issues. So, not bad thing to have, even if it sounds underwhelming at first.
