There is a homebrew race on here called True Minotaur. It gets +3 str, +2 con, +1 wis. It is a large creature and has some crazy powerful racial abilities. My DM is allowing this choice in the campaign saying that we are going to come up against a lot of hard fights.
Is there a homebrew race that gives me a similarly powerful monk build?
Has anyone seen any other homebrew race published on here nearly this powerful before?

Most races only see a total of a +4 to stats with this race seeing a total of +6 to stats. The size gives advantages in quite a few ways that could be considered an increase in power as well. Their move speed is much higher than the average moves peed of other races. They have a superior Darkvision without sunlight sensitivity. They've got built in racial abilities that rival some feats and abilities of classes. It's probably not hard to see compared to the standard races available that it's Overpowered. There are other races equally as powerful or even more powerful in the homebrew system on this site. I'm not your DM, but if I was to allow a player to run a character like that I'd want to make sure the others in my game are running equally as powerful stuff so that it's not going to limit others enjoyment of the game. It all depends upon what style of game your DM is going for. One of the beauties of homebrew is the ability to create something tailored to your needs. Maybe try creating your own sub-race that your DM would sign off on if you feel it would be too powerful?
+6 to AC 3 extra attacks at 1st level +20 to initiative 120 ft. fly speed Don't sleep, eat, or breathe. Proficiency with all weapons/armor, and expertise with one type of each Extra 2d12 elemental damage on every weapon attack
Like what? This thing could get an AC of 26 at level 1, and put out more damage than a 20th-level fighter. The only reason the level 20 fighter might have a chance is hit points.

To answer the question in the thread's title, yes, it's incredibly broken.
Here's the most broken race I could find that has good stats for a monk.

Bad grammar? Check
"Unnatural beauty"? Check
Ridiculously pure and righteous? Check
Overpowered and broken to the max? Absolutely
It has EVERY SINGLE BAD, UNCREATIVE TRAIT A HOMEBREW RACE CAN HAVE. THIS RACE IS BAD, AND WHOEVER MADE IT SHOULD FIX IT IMMEDIATELY
Walton Gibson - Human Cleric, Level 1
There is this one race called "Maekrix". It is the best race, no competition.
