looking for players who likes to interact and enjoys a healthy amount of roleplay. this game will have some home brew for story telling but not much to affect actual combat and i do try to add combat at least 1 per session and i like to keep it fast paced if possible but still fun!
Story
The Empire of Gravits was once the land for the beasts but after slaying their king and conquering the land for the humanoid races and for a while there was peace, This all changed when a famine struck the land causing a major revolt in the nation which took years to settle. now after a decade the people are in new police ran cities that are governed by nobles and royalty where the price for food is higher than ever
Starting area
You will all begin in he city of triton with your own reason for being their. you can be a worker in the factories a merchant an adventurer, or a nobleman or anything else you would like. but on one cloudy cold day you are approached with the offer for a strange new job
Triton City a nation that was once the island of triton for their home island but was taken over by the goverment and converted into an industrial city with factories, merchants, and bounty hunters. because the city is now mostly ran by nobles instead of gaurds from the queen the nobles instead hires local adventurers for jobs that pay handsomely

Hi, I'm new to DnD, and looking to join a game. I have never played before but I'm willing to learn! I've seen some campaigns online and want to try for myself. If you're okay with that I'd love to join up!
i stated my timezone up their its specifically tempe arizona but its the same as phoenix for about 4pm, in the afternoon to 8-9 depending on how the group feels we will go longer or shorter
are there any specific restrictions on usable races/classes/subclasses for this campaign? or other restrictions such as no multiclass? I have an idea in my mind right now but would need to know this before i send it your way.
I wouldn't say struggling, it's just that I've never really played, so I might get some things wrong here and there, but I'm familiar with most things I'd wager. There are some rules or specific things that I probably don't know in terms of combat or lore, but other than that I think I have a firm grasp on the game (or maybe not, but I can't really say without trying it lol)
i dont like adding restrictions on race and if you want im ok with making lore specific for your race depending on how uncommon it is and how well it will fit
Hey, I have 3 people who have a lot of experience between the 3 of us who are looking for a group similar to the one you have in mind! If you are in interested, we can share info to give you our character ideas. We would love to chat on discord to see if we are a good fit. Would love to hear from you soon! :)
im sorry two people are already showing interest in joining maybe if one of them decides not to join then maybe we can workout a 6 player game but right now im not sure about a seven player game,,,,unless we really stick to the seven samurai trope uwu
Sounds like a good premise with plenty of overthrow of the aristocracy and bringing freedom to the people. :) I'm looking for a good group and a good game. Friday evening is good. I am CST, can you tell me if you have a time in mind?
Discord: Greenman #3636
Game: Play in D&D. (Campaign preferred, weekly preferred), open 3.5 to 5e, homebrew Group preferred: Online, 18+ Platform / tech: Open. Using Beyond, D20 and Discord . Have HD 1080p webcam/mic, great internet connection. Experience: veteran player and GM Location/Timezone: Houston, CST Availability: Flex schedule, evening /late/ very late. Preferred role: Looking to play! Any level. Looking for a campaign, but open to shorter series. Game style: Games should be fun, social collaborative storytelling experiences! To me, that means a good storyline like a book or movie (but of course player-driven rather than fixed) and a world with depth (LOTR, Forgotten Realms), or a wide-open world simulation-style where players have to explore to make their own paths and purpose. While I am a strategist who plays board games and can play hardcore tactics and min/max, I prefer campaigns with fast combat (fog of war) and great character interaction (firefly), problem-solving (Burn Notice, Indiana Jones, Conan the B), moral dilemmas (SG-1, Star Trek should we stick our nose into this culture? Again? It went so well last time....). Role-playing conversations in character are great when it advances the story, but I'd rather not get bogged down in acting out hours in a tavern unless the party is collecting vital information as part of developing the plot. Persuading the guard, NPC, Baron are usually better as conversations than skill roles. I prefer tight teamwork and dislike party conflict. If I was an Avenger I'd be Cap, trying to bring the team together, or perhaps Loki restructured as more of a Hans Solo type. Seduction is for the real world and is flat and of little interest in an RPG. Parties with goals to save the world, village or protect the innocent are most common. That doesn't mean stuffed shirts though. Every good adventure story needs a rogue type! Still, I am not looking to play with evil characters, and typically gravitate towards C.G. characters though occasionally play Reluctant Good - a neutral with good tendencies (i.e. Hans Solo).

Hey there Mr. Loaf of Meat! I saw your request and wanted to throw my hat in the ring. I got 4 characters written up that could each be fun in their own ways. We got:
- Wynn, the drunken Monk who loves a good fight and loves to talk crap
- Keo, the Barbarian Blacksmith who broke the shackles of his indentured servitude to live free
- Rilyn Greenleaf, the Druid/Monk who wanders the world in search of adventure and following the will of Nature
- Peter Delacourte, the scarred alchemist cursed with wild magic and turned a Sorcerer with little control of his abilities
Let me know what you think! I got the sheets made up on my page if you would like to peruse for yourself

How much of the game do you know so far?
I feel I have the basics down, but, being totally honest, since I have no experience with it I don't really know.
I totally understand if you would rather find more experienced players though!
i would prefer it if you did know a majority but we have worked with new people before what are you struggling with right now?
