I'm also a  member of his current campaign that's been going on for 4 years, I'm always joining the one shots when they come up because their always fun. As expected his one shot was great and was able to convince the bb not to kill us and join our side which he ever expected. Homebrews are even encouraged and he helped me with mine since I'm still new to dnd homebrew and dnd character making in general, which made me feel more at ease. He's very helpful in that aspect. He goes beyond in detail and will never slack with that. So always expect a fully immersive map, with horrifically detailed npc's no matter what path you choose, even if its not even close to the main story line. I'm hesitant to join new campaigns because ive been spoiled with this experience! 

Been a member of his original main campaign for 4 years, gotta say literally the best campaign ive ever played, that plus the one shots he has come up with are amazing i highly reccomend playing if you can snag a spot

If you're looking for a campaign you can look forward to every week and leave you wanting more than look no further. Lustria  is multi year campaign that the wonderful DM NLK has been working on for multiple years, he has put his blood, sweat and tears into this world so it is guaranteed you will be fully immersed. You can play the campaign for multiple years and still not discover everything. NLK's dm'ing style is fun, fresh, cool and easy to understand, whether you're an experienced veteran D&D player or if you're a new player and this is your first campaign. How detailed of characters must we have and are these games newbie friendly?

all my campaigns and one shots are beginner friendly and you can put as much detail as you want to put into your backstory 

are we allowed to turn monster races into homebrew characters? Like a displacer beast tabaxi?

As long as you can ground it in a solid backstory, supply a well-designed subclass and race, and keep everything balanced—not over-powered—I’m on board. And if you need a hand, I’m happy to help craft custom subclasses or species for any of my campaigns or one-shots.
