It is more combat heavy, with roleplay being secondary, and puzzle solving being third. I am more of a casual DM with a love of the rules and a lot of experience teaching others to play.
About the adventure The Karaka Woods, just beyond the shadow of the Great Citadel, have always been a place of mystery and danger. Recently, the woods have become more perilous, overrun by strange monsters and twisted abominations. This dark turn follows unsettling news from neighboring lands: the kingdom of Blackthorn barely avoided demonic conquest, and the distant kingdom of Rivern faces whispers of the dead rising from their graves. Many fear these events are harbingers of an even darker threat. Amid this chaos, three Citadel scouts have gone missing while patrolling the Karaka Woods. With resources stretched thin, the Citadel Guard has enlisted the party- whether by coin, obligation, or personal connection - to uncover their fate. The scouts were last seen near an abandoned elven stronghold deep in the forest, a known refuge for patrols.
About Me I’ve been playing and DMing TTRPGs for over 16 years, and I love helping players create unforgettable stories together. At my table, the focus is on collaborative storytelling, immersive roleplay, and exciting encounters that challenge both characters and players in fun, memorable ways. Whether you’re a brand-new adventurer or a seasoned hero, I want to make sure everyone has a chance to shine. My games are inclusive, beginner-friendly, and LGBTQ+ friendly — I want players to feel welcome, comfortable, and celebrated for who they are. I love running for a mix of play styles, from tactical combat lovers to roleplay-heavy storytellers, and I tailor each game to the group’s vibe. We'll use battlemaps for all scenes that include a scuffle, and mostly use theater of the mind for the rest of the scenes; although I do share the images that I use as reference for locations, when there are any. We'll use music to set the vibe as we play, as well as some sound effects, all integrated within Roll20. I have a firm grasp of the rules, and I am lax with them, trying to create a flow on scenes, without losing balance. If you’re looking for a DM who brings energy, flexibility, and a love of cinematic storytelling, I’d be excited to roll some dice with you!
