So in my game, there is a Paladin player and I want to give him an item that upgrades his channel divinity options. I just wanted to see if anyone knew how best to achieve this on his character sheet?
Or is it just a case of writing it in and having to remember it. I wanted to see if there was a more easy way for him to be able to see the upgrade.
May I inquire as to what type of paladin they are?
Going off the initial question what's the channel divinity you want to upgrade? If it's like the Devotions turn undead then there is a literal item that does that in Ravenloft. If its say the Devotions or Vengeance's sacred weapon/vow of enmity absolutely not.
In reality it really depends on the Oath, and particular channel of divinity you are talking about.

Cheers!
Depends partly on what you mean by "upgrade,' but probably not in the way you are hoping.
Yeah well I mean to add to what the ability does. But yeah I thought so. I just wanted to see if I had missed something.
May I inquire as to what type of paladin they are?

There isnt a way for an item to change a class feature (in an adding text sense anyway).
Hi,
Yeah it's the Oath of the crown one?
For oath of the crown? No there is no reason to buff either of these.
Champion Challenge once the first saving throw is failed has no additional saving throws on top of having no duration to it as well.
Turn the tide is a potential 11hp to all allies with in 30ft if they are at no more than half hp as a bonus action.
Both of these are pretty good.
