Hi, so I'm a new DM and am creating a one shot for my group because our usual DM wants a turn at playing this time. I have a general idea about it down, but I need help on details for this.
All of the players wake up together in a camp with no memories (I give all the players blank character sheets so they can fill it out as they go along). Their quest, after learning of monsters that have been brainwashed and are being controlled by the BGG, is to find the BBG and destroy as many of these monsters as they can as they try to recover their lost memories. They will probably have a pretty rocky start because none of them know their classes, and while they can use clues like what is in their inventory and what is their Armour class, they have know idea who they are, but they learn more as they go along after fighting ans skill checks to learn their proficiencies.
What they don't know is that they were meant to be the BBG's brainchildren, his lieutenants in taking over the world, but the party ended up escaping before they were brainwashed, but not before the memory erasing serum took effect.
At the beginning of the game, I'm going to have my players draw numbers to decide who they will be playing.
If any of you have new ideas that I can add to this, it would be very much appreciated!!
