So the character is themed as a moonknight/daredevil hybrid.... patron is an arbiter of justice/vengeance that the character has to carry out. And he has to rely on the patron for "sight".
This is a build plan to aspire to... I'm not counting on these Magic items by this level... I need advice for the build
Starts rogue 1, dual weilding short sword and scimitar. Then goes warlock till level 5. RogueX after that. first eldritch invocation is devils sight because fluffing that the pact costs him his eyes in exchange for "blind sight". Warlock is pact of the blade with the scimitar being the pact weapon and the short sword becoming his hexblade weapon at warlock 3. At character level 6 he can make 3 attacks on an attack action first attack is short sword(vex) to grant advantage with lucky as backup then sneak attack for best of 3 rolls to crit on 19/20 and if crit eldritch smite.
I want to get skulker, I could use some help picking/ordering feats & attribute increases along with any other advice.
Since you will be making attacks with your charisma, you will want to focus on feats that increase that stat. As a melee class in medium armor, you won't be particularly stealthy, and you'll have devil's sight, so Skulker might not be the best fit. I would probably take Elven Accuracy, War Caster, and either Fey/Shadow Touched or just take the Skilled feat for even more skill proficiencies. This last one would also let you skip the two levels of Bard (I assume this was for Jack Of All Trades), and let your Sneak Attack scale a little higher.
So your seeing this after i switched from swashbuckler to assassin, if I go "first" I get advantage on all attacks in round 1, that 3d20 each for 3 attacks. If I use the bonus action for hexblade's curse I have a 61.258% chance of critting.
Faerie Fire is another way to get advantage on all attacks, and bard 1 gets me 2 extra castings of Faerie fire per day and a skill (reliable talent), bard 2 gets me 2 expertise, they also push the rogue 12 feat back from character level 17 to 19 so I can get an epic boon.
Not in the pdf at character level 6 (warlock 5) i swap out the lessons of the first ones eldritch invocation that granted magic initiate druid for devils sight (because i have darkness from drow and warlock if needed)
Between elven accuracy (the warlock 4/character 5 feat) which bumps cha to 18 and the attribute increase at rogue 4/character 9 which bumps it to 20 i think I'm pretty set for charisma (only 1 level behind fastest possible).
The question was about the rogue 8 and rogue 10 feats, since I have cha 20 already bumping dex to 16 should increase my initiative a point so I have a slightly higher chance of going first.
I was thinking dual wielder (so a 71.757% chance of criting on round 1) and slasher (to impose Disadvantage on anyone i crit).
But a guy on reddit said mageslayer will help.me make essential saves) and defensive duelist parry will protect me against all melee attacks.
Also boots of elven kind are easy to get and can cancel out Disadvantage to stealth from the half plate.
