so with the inclusion of bastions I've been thinking about how much in game time should take between levels.
According to the experience per day math it would take roughly 34 days of adventuring to get to level 20.
Traditionally most pre made adventures only 2-6 months will have passed, so using Bastions in pre made modules really doesn't work.

I've been mulling around an campaign that will be more grounded (no world saving type story) and utilizing the Bastion rules.
With that said, I am thinking about switching leveling to a in game time passed requirements. 1 week of in game adventuring time per level to get to the next level. this will give 188 weeks from level 1 to level 20 and give you 179 bastion actions
figure at least 40% of the time you will be away from your bastion so only the maintain action can be taken this leaves roughly 107 bastion actions that can be taken for specialty facility's.

Thoughts?
I will say 188 weeks sounds a hell of a lot more sane than 34 days. From 0 to work's best should take some time.
There’s another thread about how long it takes to level in game with some discussion of time. One thing I had pointed out is that not every day is an adventuring day. Traveling from one place to another and nothing happens on the road? A week can pass with no adventuring days happening.
