The Strength of one barbarian feature from Raiders allows for the wild swing (reach of the swing is in another thread...) But what about the damage... assuming a failed dex save from the opponents, can the attack that hits be a critical hit? the feature reads: "If they fail, they take damage as though you hit them with an attack made with the weapon used." An attack made could be a critical hit or a regular hit... We couldn't decide - and on the night decided to go with no critical hits. But - I think there should be the possibility of a crit. Thoughts?

I have no idea what you're talking about, but a critical hit requires an attack roll which rolls a critical hit. If there's no attack roll, there's definitely no critical hit.
In the Raiders of the Serpent Sea campaign there is a Barbarian subclass called "Path of the Provoked". One of that sub-class features is the Strength of one - it reads as follows: Starting at 3rd level, while you are raging, your critical hit range increases by 1 for each hostile attacker within 5 feet, to a maximum equal to your proficiency bonus. In addition, you gain one of the following features of your choice. Stoic Strength; Wrathful Strength; Wild Strength" The Wild Strength choice give the following ability: "No enemy is safe when near you. You may sacrifice an attack and transform it into a wild swing that threatens all opponents within 5 feet of you. Any creature within your weapon’s reach must make a Dexterity saving throw against a DC of 8 + (+7) your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier. If they fail, they take damage as though you hit them with an attack made with the weapon used." Would you just roll the damage on a failed save, or would you roll the attack roll as well to see if the hit the adversary takes is critical?
That sounds like 3rd party content. But effects that require a saving throw rather than an attack roll are incapable of critting so you don't get any extra crit dice on them.

How i read it, Wild Strenght deals damage as normal hit would, not critical hit. No attack roll is actually rolled as part of this effect to determine damage, only damage roll as though you hit them with an attack made with the weapon used.
As for Strenght of One makes your critical hit range as this:
Level 1-4: Crit on 19+ if 1 hostile attacker, Crit on 18+ if 2 hostile attacker
Level 5-8: Crit on 19+ if 1 hostile attacker, Crit on 18+ if 2 hostile attacker, Crit on 17+ if 3 hostile attacker
Level 9-12: Crit on 19+ if 1 hostile attacker, Crit on 18+ if 2 hostile attacker, Crit on 17+ if 3 hostile attacker, Crit on 16+ if 4 hostile attacker
Level 13-16: Crit on 19+ if 1 hostile attacker, Crit on 18+ if 2 hostile attacker, Crit on 17+ if 3 hostile attacker, Crit on 16+ if 4 hostile attacker, Crit on 15+ if 5 hostile attacker
Level 17-20: Crit on 19+ if 1 hostile attacker, Crit on 18+ if 2 hostile attacker, Crit on 17+ if 3 hostile attacker, Crit on 16+ if 4 hostile attacker, Crit on 15+ if 5 hostile attacker, Crit on 14+ if 6 hostile attacker
